First off, I have combination skin, and I haven't found a cushion foundation that suits me as well as this one. The finish isn't quite matte, but more of a semi-matte (?) effect. If you're meticulous with your skincare routine and use a hydrating base, you can definitely achieve a nice glow. I think I've been using this exclusively for about 2-3 years now. The scent is great too. Even when it starts to wear off, it fades beautifully, so I often just use this cushion for most of my makeup application.

I'd heard that the Hera Black Cushion was thick, but I didn't find that to be the case. Instead, I felt it had excellent adherence to the skin. I think I'll continue using this product in the future.
