When I opened the package and looked at the brush, I thought it was the perfect size and curved in a zigzag shape, so it seemed like it would apply well to my lashes. The brush material was also delicate, so the mascara didn't clump. From the very first use, the application was smooth, and one touch coated my lashes evenly. The brush wasn't too big, so it was able to thoroughly apply from the root to the tip of my lashes, and even when I layered it on, there was no clumping, and it looked natural. It was especially good for creating long, voluminous lashes. I usually have trouble with my lashes drooping, but this mascara held the curl for a long time. There was also no smudging, so I was able to maintain a clean, neat eye look. I had been looking for a mascara with good staying power and no smudging, since my lashes are naturally short and my eye area is oily, and I really liked this product. It stayed clean and smudge-free even on hot days, and it held up well on my oily skin. I was really satisfied with the performance of this mascara.
