Pros
I was already keeping an eye on this product, and I was really looking forward to it after being selected as a Hwahae Trial Reviewer. This product is just perfect for my skin type - sensitive, combination, and uneven texture. The low-irritation peeling, mild acidity, and the moisturizing effect of the barley are exactly what I needed. My skin is usually dry and flaky, but if I use too much moisturizer, I immediately get clogged pores. And with the winter weather, my skin has been going through a tough time. But using the vegan-friendly barley cleanser has left my skin feeling soft and not at all dry. This is the first time I've tried a gel cleanser, and I really like the formula and how easy it is to use. I've been using it more than my usual cleansing product lately. I also really enjoy the refreshing scent, though those who dislike fragrant products may not appreciate it as much. After using the product consistently for about two weeks, the uneven texture on my skin has completely disappeared. I can't say it's a miracle, but it's definitely improved and hasn't gotten worse. Most importantly, even with the intense moisturizing I've been doing at night, the product has been able to gently exfoliate the dead skin without compromising the moisture, which is fantastic.
Cons
I'm quite sensitive to eye irritation, but my eyes felt a bit more irritated than usual. Of course, it's my fault for using it all over the eye area on the first day, but I thought it would be fine since it's low-irritation. Oh dear, my eyes are really stinging ㅠ I really have to be extra careful around the eye area.
Tip
This is probably a well-known essential item by now. When you gently rub your face with the cleansing puff sold at Olive Young, it gives you a much more radiant and glowing complexion, as if you've done a scrub.

I used it to remove blackheads and it worked well. Since it's an area with a lot of oil, if used incorrectly it can cause a breakout of acne, but as this is a vegan product, there were no issues like that. I removed my full makeup with a cleansing water, and then rubbed the remaining eye area and did a second cleanse, and it worked well. The remaining mascara was also removed quite effectively.
Cons
It seems to be suitable for dry skin. My oily-skinned sibling used it on their entire face, but they developed blemishes only on their cheeks. It's probably better to use products for oily or combination skin only on specific areas.
Tip
When my dry-skinned mother used it, she said everything was fine. She said it wasn't overly squeaky clean and was slightly moisturizing. She liked the similar feel to when she used a mildly acidic cleansing foam. Makeup also removed well.

Even though it was a bumpy ride, my skin didn't seem to melt. The bumps have also reduced a bit.
