Lightweight finish without any sticky feeling 2. Cream that effectively combats deep dryness 3. The texture feels like a mix between a gel cream and a regular cream, giving it excellent absorption 4. Despite its light texture, it provides long-lasting hydration
Cons1. The strong aloe gel scent that hits you as soon as you open the package -> I don't understand why it has such an intense aloe gel smell... 2. Despite its light texture, it seems to clog my pores, causing small blister-like blemishes to appear
TipThis cream seems to target combination dehydrated skin. It should work well for those with combination dehydrated skin or dry skin (limited to summer use). If you have oily skin, I recommend giving it some more thought before purchasing.

The texture and product name are a perfect match. The consistency is slightly heavier than a soothing gel, but not thick or rich. I found it works best when kept in the fridge. As you apply it, there's a subtle, indescribable fragrance that I really enjoyed. It's great for use when your face feels hot and flushed.
ConsAs someone with combination skin that's both oily and sensitive, with dry cheeks, I need products that provide hydration without excess oil. Unfortunately, this product contains coconut oil and stearic acid, which can clog pores and trigger blemishes. While I love the scent and texture, it's disappointing that it doesn't work for me. Coconut oil just doesn't agree with my skin.
TipThe Cold Water Cream lives up to its name! When used chilled, you can feel it instantly cooling down your skin. Although I usually avoid applying too much due to my blemish-prone skin, I've found that using this product before makeup helps control oil and keeps my face feeling refreshed. It's a great addition to my routine.

But after applying the Illuminel Water-Drink Hydrating Cool Water Cream morning and night, I hardly noticed any dryness. My skin tends to be dry, so I usually apply moisturizer two or three times, but with this cool water cream, I feel hydrated with just two applications of a small amount. It absorbs well without pilling when I wear makeup, and the pleasant scent makes me feel good when applying it.
ConsDespite being called a cool water cream, I didn't really feel a cooling sensation when applying it. However, considering that my pores didn't enlarge or sag even in the sweltering summer heat, I think the cream must be having a positive effect.
TipThe hydration lasts longer if you layer it two or three times with small amounts.

I have combination skin with an oily T-zone. The positives are the tube packaging, size, and level of hydration. - Tube packaging Unlike jar packaging which can be unhygienic and inconvenient to store, the tube format makes it easy to apply and store. - Size I was surprised by how small it was, but at 14,000 won, I think it's reasonably priced. Those wanting a larger quantity might find the size disappointing. However, I think it's perfect for travel. - Hydration As it's summer, I'm only using toner and cream, and I found the moisturizing effect sufficient. I think it might be a bit heavy for those with oily skin. In my opinion, it would suit oily skin types in winter and dry skin types in summer! It's not a cream that immediately feels powdery after application, but one that maintains its hydration.
ConsThe downsides are blemishes and lack of cooling effect. - Blemishes As I applied it, I noticed small bumps appearing like millet seeds. I didn't pay much attention at first, but before writing this review, I checked the ingredients and found some that can clog pores. I think this might be the reason. While it might be good for dry skin types, I wouldn't recommend it for oily skin types! - Cooling effect When I applied for the event, I thought it would have a cooling effect because of the name 'Cold Water Cream', but there's no such effect at all. I'm not sure why it's called 'Cold Water Cream'...! It's an average product, but I've deducted one star due to the blemishes it caused. I won't be repurchasing!

It applies smoothly and absorbs well without leaving any residue, making my skin feel comfortable. Once fully absorbed, it leaves the skin feeling soft and supple.
ConsDespite its name suggesting a refreshing and cool 'Water-Filled Moisture Cream', it didn't deliver that invigorating sensation. I was expecting a hydrating and cool moisturizer like aloe gel, but when I squeezed it out, it had more of a silicone-like gel texture. On the third day, I developed some hard blemishes, which makes me think this silicone-like formula might be clogging my pores. I'll need to use it longer to be sure.
TipKeeping it in the refrigerator works great for reducing skin heat and lowering temperature!

While I'm not sure about immediate soothing, it felt refreshingly cool on my face, which was quite pleasant. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I found the hydration a bit lacking. Despite its appearance, which isn't gel-like and seems like it would be very moisturizing, once applied and absorbed, it didn't feel as hydrating as the name might suggest (though this is just my personal opinion). I'm mentioning this in case anyone might think it's an ultra-moisturizing cream type based on photos of the product alone.
ConsThe disappointing aspect, as mentioned above, is that the hydration isn't particularly impressive. Usually, products with pore-minimizing ingredients should excel in moisturizing, but this one doesn't seem to do that either.

Thank you! --> Delivery date: 2024/06/12 (Wednesday) --> Product usage period: 6/12 ~ 6/20 (9 days) 1) Vegan product: ★★★★★ - These days, many vegan cosmetics are being released. It's reassuring and trustworthy because they contain ingredients that are good for both the environment and our bodies. 2) Ingredients: ★★★★☆ - Overall, I liked that it contained ingredients focused on hydration and cooling effects. However, I deducted one star because it contains 'stearic acid', which can clog pores, which was a bit disappointing. 3) Hydration: ★★★★★ - It contains 5 types of ceramides and is introduced as a product that provides moisture adhesion, moisture barrier, and moisture storage. As described, it was definitely moisturizing and great. 4) Cooling effect: ★★★★☆ - It's not sticky, and when applied to the skin, the moisture doesn't evaporate quickly. Above all, it has a cooling effect, making it suitable for use in hot summer weather like now. 5) Blemishes: ★★★★★ - Although I was worried about using it morning and night due to the pore-clogging ingredient, fortunately, I didn't experience any blemishes, burning sensations, or tingling. 6) Absorption: ★★★★★ - Compared to aloe gel, it has more weight, but it's not as heavy or stuffy as traditional creams. It's just like a thin ointment. It absorbs well. Overall rating: ★★★★★ - Considering the hydration, cooling effect, lack of blemishes, and good absorption, it's an excellent moisturizer for summer use!
ConsSo far, I haven't found any downsides while using it. However, since it contains an ingredient that can clog pores, those who may not be compatible with this ingredient should test it before use.
TipIn the morning, I apply it lightly before makeup, and in the evening, I apply it thickly like a mask. It helps smooth out dead skin cells and leaves my skin feeling moisturized.

Container: The lid closes securely, preventing product leakage. I've had concerns with some products' lids, but this one closes satisfyingly well. Scent: Hmm... it's herbal, but hard to describe precisely. It has a cooling effect and isn't off-putting at all. Application: As a hydrating cream, it applies beautifully. It spreads smoothly, and patting it in at the end works great. In the morning, it sometimes causes blemishes when used with sunscreen, possibly due to incompatibility. However, when applied at night, my skin is smooth and clear the next morning. Despite my typically oily skin, it seems to suit me well. For the slight dryness on my chin, applying an extra layer or two does the trick. I've been eager to try this for a while and kept applying for The Hwahae Testers. I'm thrilled to have finally won and even happier that it works well for me. Still, as skin reactions can vary, please check the ingredients before purchasing.
ConsThe pore-clogging ingredients are slightly concerning, and the product volume is a bit small.
TipIf you notice any dryness, try applying an extra layer or two.

It absorbs quickly without any stickiness, making it incredibly pleasant to apply. There's also a refreshing sensation after application. It's an excellent cream for cooling down skin that's overheated from the summer heat.
ConsThe ingredients include some that might clog pores, which is concerning for someone like me who's prone to small blemishes. While I haven't experienced any breakouts yet during use, I'm a bit apprehensive about potential reactions.
TipTo help cool down my skin, I've been following the trendy routine of using an aloe gel mask. Afterwards, I apply this cream for added hydration.

It contains a relatively high amount of active ingredients for its price point, with a favorable order of concentration. 2. The texture is smooth and absorbs quickly, making it great for summer use. 3. While I usually avoid fragranced products, the scent is pleasant - subtle and inoffensive. 4. The small container is perfect for frequent travelers like me, making it easy to carry around.
Cons1. For the first 3-4 days, the stickiness was hard to get used to, but it improved after a while. 2. Despite its name, I didn't feel much of a cooling effect, and it doesn't seem to be an exceptionally hydrating product. 3. Personally, I dislike products with added fragrances. Even though I have dry skin, ingredients that clog pores invariably cause blemishes for me. I've also been using new makeup recently, so I'm not sure which is responsible, but it's disappointing.
TipI'd like to try using this in winter rather than summer.
