  Pros

  This product is perfect for seasonal transitions. Especially during fall and winter when your face tends to get dry, using it before bed leaves your skin deeply hydrated even until the next day.

  Cons

  The amount of serum inside seems insufficient. Even though the recommended time is 10-20 minutes, the mask sheet dries out after just 10 minutes.

  Tip

  When you follow up this mask with a hydrating moisturizer, you can feel the hydration penetrating deep into your skin.

  1. While using it, it feels like a decent hydrating mask.

  Cons

  1. After about 15 minutes, the forehead area was quite dry. For my skin, around 10 minutes seems more appropriate. 2. There's a slight itchy sensation after use.

  Pros

  This is the renewed version of the Watermide Essential Mask. The amount of essence is similar to the original product.

  Cons

  The essence quantity might be the same, but this is just a nerfed version. The original Watermide Essential Mask wouldn't dry out even after 20 minutes. I used to use it daily as part of my mask routine, but it's frustrating that they've changed the sheet, seemingly with the hyaluronic acid renewal. This one starts feeling dry after just 10 minutes on the face. I ordered 40 sheets when it was on sale for 9,900 won for 10+2, but after using a few, I've switched back to the Madecassoside and Collagen Essential masks. They're genuinely more hydrating and have better moisture retention. After the renewal, the sheet itself seems to absorb the essence poorly. It feels somewhat papery or like hanji (Korean paper). The funny thing is, the amount of essence is still plentiful, similar to the original product. However, it starts drying out after about 10 minutes on the face. If you have dry skin, you'll need to apply additional moisturizer. Usually, people with dry skin look for masks that focus on hydration, which is why I was satisfied with the original product and used it daily. But after the renewal, the sheet quality has gone downhill. It's not really a renewed version, but a downgraded one. Just buy the Madecassoside or Collagen masks instead.
