You need to control the amount carefully. It shouldn't be applied directly to the bare face. Since it's a good, strong product, it's better to apply it after using a base product and as the final step. I tried applying it directly to my bare face and my skin became a bit abnormal. After that, I apply the base product first and then use it.
The small size is quite expensive. But it's okay since I don't use it often.

The product is effective. The effectiveness seems to depend on the type of pimple. It is definitely effective in soothing pimples that are about to pop.

Never pour the pure essence directly onto your bare face. There's a reason why you shouldn't do that... And if the affected area is only one or two spots, mixing just one drop into the cream should be sufficient. If it's a bit more, then two drops? I don't think you need to add any more than that. And for those with acne spread over a wider area, first calm the whole area down, then focus on the larger spots. This product is meant for spot treatment, so if you apply it to every single acne-prone area, it'll be similar to covering a wide area, and could cause irritation.

It's extremely hot and tingling. The stimulating sensation is already mentioned in the product description, but it's beyond imagination.. The more problematic the area, the stronger the stimulation seems to be. Don't use it on the skin around your mouth that has breakouts. That's also why I recommended mixing it with a rich moisturizing cream - because of the strong stimulation.

When my skin was not sensitive, I first applied benzoyl peroxide to the affected area before bed, then confirmed it had been absorbed. After that, I mixed a drop or two of it into a rich moisturizing cream and applied it generously. The acne is gradually drying up and healing.
