However, I wouldn't recommend it to just anyone. While it may seem like a dewy, creamy formula that glides on smoothly, the moment you apply it, it sets into a completely matte finish, not even a semi-matte - just straight up matte. But when you wear this product, you can maintain a really smooth, powdery finish on your skin all day long without any powder, and there's almost no breakdown or oiliness. As a little bit of shine comes through over time, it actually makes your skin look even prettier. So this is my go-to foundation for the summer. And the b-002 color is truly my absolute favorite! It's such a beautiful ivory tone. This kind of shade is really only available from Lancome. It's not too yellow, not too red - just the perfect color for Asian skin tones. It doesn't look too warm in the summer heat, but has a nice, subtle coolness to it. I highly recommend this!
ConsBeing a matte foundation, it can accentuate pores and dry patches more easily, so proper skincare is really important. And since it sets so quickly, you need to have good application skills as well.
TipAs a dry-skinned person, I find that using it alone makes my skin feel a bit too dry and the coverage can look a bit flat. So I mix it with a more hydrating foundation at a 2:1 ratio (Teint Idole Ultra Wear). Also, it works better with a sponge applicator than a brush.
