I think it would work well as a base too - it gives a soft, blurred effect, so makeup applies nicely on top. 👍🏼 Certified vegan, PETA certified in the US, and completed the German Dermatest. 👍🏼 I use foundation #13 and have a bright complexion, so even when using a tone-up sunscreen, the tone-up effect is minimal. However, this product has a definite tone-up effect! Highly recommended for those with a bright complexion looking for a tone-up sunscreen! 👍🏼 It applies moisturizing and dries to a smooth, powdery finish, so no need to apply powder on top. 👍🏼 It gives a lovely, healthy glow, which I'm very satisfied with. 👍🏼 I've never experienced any breakouts or issues while using this product.
