It's applied like a patch, peeling off and sticking to the trapezius muscles. The adhesive side has a tacky substance on it. After applying, you start to feel a cooling effect, and your tense trapezius muscles begin to relax. It's great for consistent use by those who suffer from neck pain or frequent headaches due to tight trapezius muscles, though I'm not sure if it actually reduces their size. While it's hard to see any visible reduction in the trapezius, you can definitely feel your tense shoulders relaxing and becoming more supple when you apply it. It's incredibly helpful for those who do a lot of desk work! There's some skin irritation when removing it, so you need to peel it off gently and carefully. It leaves some redness after removal. And it's really expensive... seriously, it's too pricey. Because of the cost, I cut it in half to make it last longer. If it were more affordable or if I were rich, I'd stock up and use it consistently!
