  It doesn't leave a heavy white cast and feels moisturizing. It's lightweight and doesn't feel suffocating on the skin.

  Unfortunately, it causes makeup to pill and come off, and there's a sticky feeling to it...

  It absorbs really well. It didn't irritate my eyes and felt quite nice overall.

  I didn't find anything particularly disappointing. I haven't tried applying makeup over it, so I can't confirm if it causes any pilling.

  It absorbs well and feels light on the skin. The packaging is also pretty and appealing.

  Cons

  Pilling... so much pilling! I can only use it alone, not in my regular routine. Even when I use it by itself, I prefer brightening moisturizers or mineral sunscreens, so I hardly ever reach for this...

  I bought this sunscreen expecting both UV protection and skin-soothing effects, as it contains azulene in similar quantities to Mamonde's skin line. It's definitely great for calming the skin when it's feeling sensitive, especially compared to using a sun stick.

  Cons

  While it's supposed to be Hwahae-approved, it can occasionally pill if you apply it over multiple skincare layers. Being an organic sunscreen, some shine is unavoidable, unfortunately.

  Tip

  If you're like me and use a lot of skincare products, I'd recommend following up with a powder.

  It's incredibly hydrating, absorbs well, and doesn't feel greasy at all. No eye irritation either! I got it at a great price during a sale, and since it's organic, I thought it would pair perfectly with makeup, but...

  Cons

  Turns out I'm not the only one experiencing this issue. Everything else is great, but when I apply cushion foundation over it, there's terrible pilling. I thought my skin was flaking! Worried it might be my skin's fault, I even did a mask the night before, replaced my cushion puff, and applied sunscreen 30 minutes before makeup, but still so much pilling. I guess I'll just use this on days when I'm not wearing makeup...
