I was really worried about my freckles, but this product seems to provide hydration and even slightly fade my freckles. Due to its high moisture content, it takes a bit of time to fully absorb into the skin after application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 16, 2025
After using about three bottles, I feel like it's had a slight effect in fading my dark spots. The formula is quite heavy, so it absorbs slowly and doesn't seem to provide enough hydration. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinDec 18, 2024
I bought this after seeing social media ads claiming it's effective for brightening. It does even out my skin tone and make it look brighter for a short while, though the effect seems temporary. It does seem to provide some hydration. It doesn't absorb well, so I wouldn't recommend applying a small amount or using it right before makeup. For those with oily skin, it might be good to apply this before bed in winter. Personally, I find the ampoule mask from this brand to be more effective. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinNov 19, 2024
Seems great for dry skin. It feels moisturizing when applied. I like that it's almost fragrance-free. It's quite gentle on the skin. The absorption seems a bit slow. The packaging is rather disappointing. I don't really notice any significant brightening effects. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinOct 6, 2024
I noticed my face looked a bit brighter the day after using it, without causing any major blemishes. Since brightening moisturizers show results with consistent use, I plan to diligently apply the remaining two bottles. It takes a while to absorb as it sits on top of the skin. Although the cream that initially sits on the surface eventually absorbs naturally, due to the nature of brightening moisturizers and this product specifically, it's better suited for evening use rather than before applying makeup. Since I apply this as the final step in my skincare routine, if I wait for the previously applied emulsion or essence to absorb a bit, it doesn't feel like it's sitting on top of the skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAug 22, 2024
The ingredients seem gentle, as I didn't experience any blemishes on my face. Interestingly, it has a light pale green color. I've been using it for over two months, but I'm not sure if it's had any effect on my dark spots. The advertising feels a bit exaggerated. It seems to absorb too slowly, and when I apply makeup after using it, everything pills. Also, the case design is very similar to another pharmacy's dark spot treatment product, which is confusing. I have both at home and have mixed them up many times. What's more, the text and images on the case wear off easily. The image below the title is already completely gone. Because it absorbs slowly, I've been applying it at night before bed. While it doesn't seem to have much effect on dark spots, the ingredients are gentle, so I'm using it generously like a night cream. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 4, 2024
It absorbs well due to its moisturizing texture. I've been applying it daily lately since it's said to be good for dark spots. The scent is subtle. I appreciate that it doesn't irritate my eyes. I'm disappointed that I haven't noticed any significant changes in my dark spots. The hydration is a bit weak, and it takes some time to absorb into the skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 24, 2024
I bought this product because I trust its good ingredients, especially the generous amount of perilla seed. The natural scent gives me confidence that it's gentle and won't worsen my dark spots. I'm using it comfortably with the expectation that it won't intensify my hyperpigmentation. Overall, I'm quite satisfied with it. It feels a bit dry when it's absorbing into the skin. You need to wait a moment for it to fully absorb. Also, I wish the quantity was a bit more generous - that's a bit disappointing. - Hwahae UserDry SkinJun 24, 2024
As someone in their mid-30s who didn't use sunscreen much when younger, I've started to notice some slight hyperpigmentation. It's not severe, but I bought this perilla seed whitening cream hoping to see some effects. Here's my experience after using it consistently for 20 days: - The day after application, I felt like my dark spots appeared lighter compared to days when I didn't use it. This might be psychological, but it was noticeable. - It didn't cause any blemishes. - Once absorbed, it leaves a rich feeling that works well for my dry skin. - The texture is thick and creamy. - It absorbs well when applied after vitamin C serum. The coating on the packaging peels off easily. Also, it takes a while to absorb, so the absorption isn't very quick. It absorbs really well when applied after vitamin C serum. I recommend patting it gently onto your skin when applying for better absorption.
