(It reminds me of the classic fragrance of mom's old cosmetics.) I bought it to consistently use the combination of retinol and bakuchiol. I often use it to even out my skin texture as well. Perhaps due to the low concentration, I haven't seen any noticeable effects on skin elasticity yet. It's a great, low-risk option to try before using high-concentration products. In recent years, many cosmetics and medications have been advertising their main ingredients prominently. I needed a toner urgently, so I bought this without checking reviews, and it turned out great! It has a runny consistency, and when applied like an essence before makeup, it leaves the skin nicely hydrated. The runny consistency wasn't ideal for use as an exfoliating toner, unfortunately. Great value for the quality ingredients. It's a safe choice that you can use without any issues. The overwhelming fragrance cancels out all the positives. I don't understand why Daiso products, which are generally good, have such strong scents that make you not want to use them. The plastic bottle fits perfectly in your hand. It's lightweight and not cumbersome since it's not glass, which is great. The lid is a standard twist-off type, and a gentle tap dispenses just the right amount. The texture feels slightly thick when applied to the skin, not runny at all, but slowly glides down. It's not watery, but has a viscous consistency. The scent, while subjective, is pleasant to me. It's not overpowering, so I think it won't be polarizing. I was worried the viscosity might make it sticky, but it absorbs quickly with gentle patting after smooth application, leaving almost no stickiness. It leaves a deeply hydrated feeling. After using this toner, my skin feels more elastic and softer. I'm satisfied and enjoying using it. So far, I'm using it without any disappointments. When using during the day, remember to apply sunscreen if you're using products containing retinol. Keep that in mind!
