• I've dropped and broken it many times... While it's probably still usable, the surface might be sharp, so I tearfully discarded it each time.
• If you don't dry it well and close the lid, you might notice a crusty residue in the lid crevices when you open it later. It seems the dissolved minerals recrystallize in the gaps as they dry.

• However, unless it's discontinued, there's no reason not to use it. It's a lifelong companion.
