The texture is delightfully bouncy and it provides great hydration. I have sensitive, problem-prone skin, which is a bit of a drawback. Other than that, I stored it in the fridge and used it well last summer. However, the scent doesn't quite suit it. It doesn't seem to have a corn fragrance as expected. You can apply it after your toner. A downside is that while it does apply with a nice bouncy texture, it wasn't very effective on areas with adult acne since I have sensitive skin. I've been using this for about a month and a half! The texture is transparent and slightly viscous, like nasal mucus, but not too thick. When you smell it, there's a slightly unique scent. I think they mentioned it's the natural fragrance of the ingredients. Among products claiming to be effective for pores, I haven't seen much results from many, but while this one doesn't have dramatic effects, I feel like my pores are less noticeable when I wake up in the morning after applying it. I know it's difficult for cosmetics to actually shrink pores, so I'm satisfied with this level of effectiveness. After using it all up, you can just replace the refill to keep using it! The ampoule opening is designed to dispense product when you turn the bottle one way and retract when you turn it the other way. If you don't clean it thoroughly after use, it gets messy with product residue all over it.
