It has a great texture and fragrance! It's light and easy to apply, so I often reach for it, and when I'm in a hurry, I can just slap it on without any fuss. It absorbs well into the skin, and overall, I've been using it without any major issues.
Cons
However... I'm not sure if it's as effective for freckles and blemishes as the name suggests. I don't have freckles, but I tried it for my blemishes and scars, and I didn't really notice them fading faster or anything like that. I just used it as a hydrating serum... But given the price, it's a bit disappointing that it's not a more affordable serum.
Tip
Among high-performance, high-functionality products, there are many that have a sticky texture or poor absorption. However, it is great to mix those high-concentration vitamin, retinol, or powder-type high-functionality products with them! When used together with the vitamins, the characteristic stickiness of the vitamins was greatly reduced, making it pleasant to use.

Even though it's a functional product, I was surprised at how well it applies - it has good slip, doesn't sit on top of the skin, spreads out smoothly and evenly, and isn't sticky at all. This Hwahae essence is great. At Iope, they use retinol for wrinkle and pore management, but this product targeting discoloration came out, so I tried the sample and immediately bought the full size. I have extremely sensitive dry skin, and if there are any incompatible ingredients, it stings and I have to wash it off right away. But this one worked really well for me and I loved it. It even has a pretty moisturizing finish, so in the summer I can just use this alone. The application and absorption are all excellent - it spreads out seamlessly without any residue. I bought it as my dark spots have become more noticeable since turning 30, and with my diligent skincare routine using Amore Pacific and Iope products, I've been seeing good results.
Cons
It wasn't very much. Even though I have sensitive skin, I was amazed that it applied smoothly without being irritating.
Tip
Apply the Amore Pacific Retinol Line, and the next day when you rest from retinol, apply this. Spread it evenly over the areas of concern on your cheeks where you have freckles - it's reassuring~
