It just eliminates that shine, so unless a lot of time has passed since application, I didn't feel any extreme dryness! Plus, the packaging is so princess-like and pretty, it's perfect for beautifying your makeup pouch! The puff gets dirty easily, so I frequently replaced it with ones from Daiso. (I'm generally quite sensitive, so I try to change my puffs at least once a week!)
