The color is a clear ivory, so when applied, it looks lively and nice. It seems to wash off very well. 1. It just doesn't come out, even though it's a solid balm + mesh net, so they say you can adjust the amount, but it really doesn't come out. You have to press it down hard, but do you really need to adjust the amount this much? In the beginning, it comes out a bit when you use it 3-4 times, but after that, it basically doesn't come out at all. 2. The content doesn't come out anyway, and the puff is extremely soft and fluffy like an Espoir Velvety Rubycell puff, so it doesn't really apply well to the skin, and the combination just doesn't work. 3. This is the first time I've seen a cushion that doesn't express the skin nicely... At first, this cushion applies smoothly, but over time, a lot of oil comes up. It's not pretty right after application, and it doesn't get any prettier over time either... It's dry and emphasizes the uneven texture, and even acne is clearly visible, and it really gets stuck on the sides of the nose... I wish you hadn't bought it... - 20*****Normal SkinSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresApr 11, 2025
Even for dry skin, it's decent if you apply it well. The color and overall performance are generally satisfactory. Unless you have flawless porcelain skin, it accentuates blemishes when applied. Over time, it feels heavy and drying, even for my slightly dry combination skin. It's a foundation that goes on quite thick and cakey. This cushion doesn't make me reach for it often. I found a better application method: tap the cushion on the side to control the amount, spread a bit on the back of your hand first, then apply. This resulted in a much cleaner finish. - 03****Dry SkinInner DrynessRecommendedJan 18, 2025
As someone with dry skin, I'm truly satisfied with this cushion foundation! It doesn't float on the skin, and there's no caking or cracking. However, the amount is really small, and it doesn't dispense properly. I had to discard one and switch to a refill. The mesh net allows for easy application without needing to control the amount. - ss*****Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRecommendedDec 7, 2024
It creates a beautiful skin finish. The puff is incredibly soft, giving a pleasant feel. Although it's a foundation, not a cushion, it absorbs well into the skin even after applying sunscreen. Using the included concealer enhances coverage even more. As time passes, it tends to lift slightly around the sides of the nose or areas with blemishes. - wo******Combination SkinRecommendedSep 16, 2024
Great for achieving a matte finish, especially in summer. The staying power isn't bad either. It tends to settle into the creases around the nose and emphasize dead skin cells! While it does blend in better over time, exfoliation is absolutely necessary. - mi*******Dry SkinRecommendedAug 23, 2024
Skin type: Dry I bought this after seeing rave reviews on YouTube and because of its unique formula :) I purchased shade 0.7 Ivory. Those who've seen photos of this product will immediately notice that it might be too much for oily skin types... As someone with dry skin, I prefer a glowy skin look. The application is better than it looks! I used to pat-pat-pat my foundation, but for this product, it's better to smooth it on in sweeping motions (as seen on YouTube). I was worried this might cause my makeup to separate or pill due to my skincare, but surprisingly it didn't :) Even though it's a makeup product, it contains brightening ingredients. While I may not see dramatic effects, it makes me feel good about using it. Despite its glowy finish, it wasn't drying at all! This really feels like a product made for dry skin types. + The packaging is sturdy and pretty! First off... you really need to know your shade well when choosing this product. I'm a 21 who sometimes likes to go a shade lighter, but this was way too light for me. Despite claims in YouTube videos and ads that there's no darkening, I did experience some (don't use it in summer! I think it happened due to sweat and oil production). Because of its solid formula, it's hard to see if it's actually transferring onto the puff or not. This product has very distinct pros and cons. - so*******Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRecommendedAug 21, 2024
First off, it doesn't cause any blemishes..! That alone scores 80% in my book. My skin is quite finicky, you know? Usually, if a product has pore-clogging ingredients, I break out immediately! But this one doesn't have that stearic... whatever, so I decided to give it a try, and no blemishes appeared! I'm touched... Plus, even though it's a solid foundation, it comes with a mesh net, making it easy to control the amount. When you pat it on, you get coverage, and if you blend it, it follows your skin texture beautifully! The staying power is great, and there's practically zero darkening. Overall, I'm really satisfied with this product! There are a few downsides, though. It feels powdery when you first apply it, right? But as time passes, more oil comes through than expected. So I tried setting it with powder, but that made my skin look dry. Maybe I'm just not good at applying powder... So I've been using oil blotting sheets, but since I really prefer a matte finish, even with the sheets, I still feel like there's some oiliness. Also, it's not great for touch-ups. Surprisingly, it might work well for oily skin types in fall and winter if you prep your skin properly. I switched to this after using Hera Black Cushion, which I liked except for the breakouts it caused. While I'm a bit disappointed about these issues, I'll probably keep using this product. It's still much better than something that constantly causes blemishes, right? Despite these drawbacks, this product is really quite good. - in*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJul 26, 2024
First off, when I apply this cushion, it creates a beautiful skin finish with pretty good coverage. As someone who prioritizes coverage, I find myself reaching for this cushion often. The shade itself is lovely, and I'd recommend it for those who are around shade 19! Even after some time, there was hardly any patchiness. For color reference, check out the comparison photos with other cushions I've included. There weren't many significant drawbacks to the product itself. However, it might be too dark for those who are shade 13. I'm shade 17 and prefer a brighter look, so it felt a bit dark for my liking!
