I thought it was a lotion and applied it generously, and it seems to be mixed with foundation, so it definitely cakes up. However, compared to regular foundation, when I applied an appropriate amount, it blended in naturally well! There are tiny capsule granules in the lotion, and I heard from the advertisement that those capsules burst and help correct the skin tone.
