(Though it could be just my imagination.) 1) Blemishes and irritation: Absolutely none. The product description claimed it was gentle, but I was still worried since it contains vitamin C and I'd never used niacinamide before. I patch-tested it on my cheek and felt no tingling or irritation. When I applied it all over my face at night, I woke up with no new blemishes, itching, or burning sensation. It was perfect! 2) Brightening effect: After using it for just the first and second nights, I noticed my complexion looked more even and radiant both immediately after application and the next morning. I'm really satisfied with the results. With consistent nightly use, that brightened complexion seems to be maintaining itself. While the effect might not be super dramatic, I felt my skin tone was quite dull before, so the improvement is noticeable to me. I'm continuing to use it with great satisfaction. 3) Hydration: The moisture level is decent, nothing extraordinary but certainly not lacking. I definitely recommend this product!
