Everyone recommends using cool-toned contour sticks even for warm skin tones, so I used a cool-toned contour stick. When I tested it directly, the tone did have a bit of a reddish tint. The color payoff is decent, and the staying power was good when used together with a powder contour. I recommend this for people who don't have very dark complexions.
ConsAt first, I didn't notice when I tested it on the back of my hand, but when I tried it on my nose, the contour stick felt a bit thick, making it difficult to create precise definition. Also, compared to other products, even the cool-toned color has a lot of redness, so I recommend the cool shade for warm skin tones, but I don't recommend the warm shade.
TipIt's very convenient to carry, so I keep it in my bag for touch-ups. Don't use the blending sponge that comes with it. It will remove all the base makeup you've carefully applied. As a usage tip, after applying the contour stick for the first layer of contouring, set it with powder, then use a powder contour to lock it in place. Your makeup won't budge at all from when you leave the house until you get back home!
