The scent... it smells like oil. I guess they didn't add any fragrance. It's not really a downside, just an observation.

The cleansing effectiveness is pretty good. I only wear base makeup, not heavy point makeup, and it removed it easily.

Drawbacks: Blackheads
One of the main reasons I needed a cleansing oil was for black and whiteheads. However, it didn't seem to extract my blackheads effectively. While the photos show a noticeable difference, in reality it felt more like they just became less noticeable rather than being removed. Even after using about 2/3 of the product, the effect on my type of blackheads wasn't dramatic.

I have combination skin that occasionally gets sensitive, with a slightly rough texture. Here are photos from August 2, 2024 showing my skin condition and after one use of the product.

Texture:
The texture is like water with a slight viscosity. It has a sloshing consistency when shaken - really water-like! You might be able to use one less pump than usual. I used 4 pumps which was a bit much, making it harder to emulsify. It emulsified better with just a small amount and a bit of water. Women may find 3 pumps sufficient, but if you prefer more product, just add extra water!

Cleansing Effectiveness:
It removed my tone-up sunscreen with heavy white cast well, so the cleansing power was good.

Irritation:
For my skin, which usually tolerates new products well, the irritation level was acceptable. I'd rate it 4 out of 5.

Positives (Recommended aspects):
Though the photo isn't perfectly clear, it seems to have cleaned up bumpy texture and sebum nicely.

Recommended Skin Types:
I'd recommend this for all skin types except dry skin. As someone with combination skin, I felt tightness after cleansing, especially in non-T-zone areas. However, this sensation decreased after using about 2/3 of the product. It might be too drying for those with dry skin, as cleansing oils tend to remove skin oils thoroughly. This seems more suitable for oily to combination skin types.

It doesn't really dissolve sebum that effectively... It's just for removing makeup.

The scent is... how should I put it? There's a slight petroleum-like smell, and the texture doesn't give that squeaky-clean feeling.

Effectively removes 3 types of impurities: tiny sebum, blackheads, and pore debris. This is something I actually experienced! I could feel the reduction of blackheads in the T-zone, especially around my nose. It's great for deep cleansing, easily removing waterproof sunscreen and makeup. The texture is slightly sticky and thick, but it thoroughly cleanses existing sunscreen and BB cream. It even removes lip tint completely. Overall, it's quite effective at clearing out pores, eliminating blackheads, and providing a deep cleanse.
