This base suits my oily skin perfectly. When applied in a thin layer, it enhances the color payoff of both concealer and foundation. While it's not an impenetrable barrier, it does a decent job of controlling sweat and oil. It doesn't completely block oil, so those with extremely oily skin like mine need to take additional steps. Otherwise, you might feel let down if you rely on it too much. Also, given its matte finish, you need to blend your foundation or concealer quickly after application. If you don't, it will set in place exactly as you've applied it. It's best to apply this using a spatula or your fingers. I've tried using a puff, but it absorbs too much product. It's better to spread it out, let it set a bit, and then use a puff to remove any excess. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 1, 2025
Wow, I've never used such a thin, silky, and beautiful base before. Thick bases can look unattractive when applying foundation, but this product applies so thinly that it actually makes your skin look beautifully radiant. It's gorgeous even when worn alone! It covers pores while controlling oil that surfaces over time, and its light blue tint definitely corrects my yellow undertones. I've never seen such a perfect base - wow... It feels moisturizing when first applied, but becomes silky after a short while. It's extremely lightweight, feeling fresh and hydrating all at once! I'd recommend it for oily, combination dehydrated, and combination skin types. It's likely to become a summer essential. It's become my holy grail...!!! I can't do my makeup without this product!!!! To sum it up briefly: it's a thin and beautiful base that effectively controls annoying excess oil, noticeably brightens yellow skin tones, and gives a radiant finish. If you don't moisturize well in your skincare routine, it might become a bit dry and difficult to apply foundation over. As long as you prep your skin properly, it's truly a holy grail for oily, combination dehydrated, and yellow-toned skin!!!! Please don't ever discontinue this product! The SPF is a bit low, so I apply a lightweight, hydrating organic sunscreen first, then layer this product on top. This creates a complexion that's moisturized on the inside and silky on the outside! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMar 27, 2025
Noticeably brightens complexion Lightweight texture applies thinly Significantly slows makeup breakdown in oily areas Very drying (not recommended for dry skin) Sets quickly, requiring swift application Focus on applying to oily areas like the nose, and quickly pat in before it sets - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 12, 2025
It effectively reduces redness and provides a very natural and beautiful brightening effect. The formula is almost water-like, allowing for an incredibly thin application. You don't need to wait long before applying makeup - it quickly becomes powdery, so you can apply makeup almost immediately after use. I love that it doesn't transfer at all when rubbed, leaving a perfect finish. It controls oil well, making it great for oily skin types. It noticeably reduces shine and improves the longevity of your base makeup. This will be especially nice in summer. What I really love is how lightweight it feels, as if you're not wearing anything on your skin. Sometimes even sunscreen can feel heavy when my skin is sensitive, but this feels like I've only applied basic skincare. These days I often skip full makeup and just use a brightening moisturizer for daily wear. This works great as a natural and fresh alternative to foundation when used as a brightening moisturizer. I prefer fragrance-free products, but this one has a slight scent. The amount of product is also a bit on the smaller side. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 14, 2025
As a standalone product, it's a one-star wonder. But mix it with foundation (this is keyโญ๏ธ) and it's a game-changer! It controls oil while thinning out thicker foundations, allowing for a smooth, light application. If your go-to foundation is on the heavier side (like Estรฉe Lauder, VDL, or Etude Double Wear), try blending it with this and applying with a spatula. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the results. For cushion foundation users... well, I'm not quite sure how it'll work. Its effectiveness really depends on how you use it. It might work well for those with oily skin that's relatively smooth and free of dead skin cells. However, if you have combination dehydrated skin that's oily on the surface but dry underneath, you might want to hold off on purchasing. I definitely wouldn't recommend using it alone. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinAug 24, 2024
It's lightweight and spreads thinly without clumping. Once fully applied, it naturally controls oil. Before trying it, you might think 'Do I really need this?' But after using it, you'll wonder how you ever survived summer with oily skin without it! You'll find yourself stocking up, and it's incredibly satisfying even for a foundation-free look. You must remember to shake it well before use. If you forget, it comes out like poorly mixed paint. My redness is severe, and my neck is two shades darker than my face. When I try to match my neck color, the blue tone makes me look too pale, while the pink-beige makes my whole face look flushed. It's disappointing that there isn't a natural beige color option. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinJul 2, 2024
Wow, this is amazing! It definitely reduces oil production! In summer, my nose usually turns into an oil well, but when I apply this sunscreen thinly, followed by base and powder, I only get a slight glow without the oil slick. I've never seen such effective results with anything else - it's incredible! However... I tried applying it all over my T-zone to control oil, but my forehead erupted in a crazy party of tiny bumps. It's not a cleansing issue - even before I got home to wash my face, I could see them popping up one by one while I was still out. Maybe it's because that area has more peach fuzz and fewer pores? I wonder if it's more suitable for areas like the nose bridge, which has no fuzz and larger pores?
