  I have a dry skin type and have a slight oiliness that lasts all day. I lack both moisture and oil, and my skin is dry both inside and out. These days, as I go through the seasonal change, I'm getting some flakiness and small bumps... Even a little bit of flakiness makes my skin look patchy. I've tried gently tapping it on, spreading it, and using a puff, but the flakiness stands out too much, making it difficult to use. Other foundations don't seem to emphasize it as much. I always make sure to include moisture in my skincare routine, so the flakiness that wasn't visible before became emphasized as soon as I applied this foundation. It was too much of a hassle to scrape it off, so I re-cleansed my face and applied a cushion foundation instead. The cleansing may have removed the flakiness, but the cushion applied smoothly without any patchiness. This foundation might not be the best for those with very little oiliness... The coverage isn't heavy, just a light tone-up effect, so you could probably just use a tone-up cream or primer instead.
