My skin stings within seconds of application. I thought it might be my skin condition the first day, but it consistently caused irritation and itching on subsequent uses. It's more rich than hydrating, leading to excess oil production and severe foundation darkening. I was shocked to see how dark my face looked after lunch. It also severely irritates my eyes. I usually apply sunscreen on my eyelids, but with this one, my eyes water and sting even without applying it there. The fragrance, while not unpleasant, is overwhelmingly strong.

It absorbs well without feeling dry. The pump dispenser seems more hygienic.

The texture and smooth application were really nice

- Can't really tell about the cooling effect.
- Poor accessibility. I remember the purchasing process being particularly annoying.

- Unless it's on sale, I probably wouldn't buy it again without hesitation.

Somehow I ended up buying this in summer and using it in winter.

- Incredibly lightweight for a sun serum.
- Almost no tightening sensation typical of sun serums and essences.
- Might be suitable for all seasons, except for those with dry skin.

- Caused small bumps to appear on my skin
- Even when used in summer, it left my skin feeling deeply dehydrated
- It pills badly. If you try to apply makeup over it, it comes off in clumps like dirt
- Most critically, the sun protection seems ineffective. Does it wear off too quickly? With other sunscreens, I never had this issue, but with this one, I got terribly sunburned

It's so terrible that I'm struggling to find anything positive to say... Definitely a top contender for the 'Most Regrettable Purchase of 2024' award.

This makes all my foundation pill. I thought maybe it was because I was pushing too hard, so I tried patting it in gently, but then it started to clump. My friend said it was good, so I had high hopes... but I probably won't use this except when I'm wearing it alone. And the worst part? After applying, my hands feel incredibly greasy. It's so oily you wouldn't believe it, and it doesn't absorb well at all. When using this, you absolutely must wipe your hands with a tissue. I'd never use this before going to work.

Sun protection products can inevitably irritate the skin, but I felt this one was truly non-irritating. I have sensitive cheeks, and it's good even when applied during sensitive times

3. No pilling with makeup
For women, whether or not sun care products pill under makeup is crucial, and this one doesn't pill or separate at all. It just feels like applying serum before makeup! Satisfying

Overall satisfaction! I keep reapplying sunscreen, and even after makeup, this doesn't pill. Even if I apply more sunscreen after this sun serum, there's no skin irritation!

I experience slight eye irritation, but what's more bothersome is the skin irritation. Despite having dry skin that's not typically sensitive, this product causes a stinging sensation when applied alone. It's unusual for me, so I'm unsure whether to continue use. I bought four at once, but I'll likely only use one and leave the rest. Fortunately, there are plenty of other Hwahae-approved sunscreens that are both moisturizing and gentle on the skin.

True to its name as a sun serum, it glides on smoothly and feels incredibly hydrating. The unique formulation is intriguing - tiny beads inside disperse as they come out of the nozzle, creating a soft, pillowy texture.

- Excellent adherence
It doesn't sit on top of the skin but absorbs quickly, leaving a silky smooth film. I use this on days when I want my makeup to look flawless.
