It's the best! As someone with super sensitive skin, I've found this body emulsion to be non-sticky while still providing decent hydration. It caused no irritation and my skin felt comfortable. The pleasant fragrance is a given, of course! I really dislike sticky body emulsions. I've tried so many Korean brands, but none were moisturizing without feeling heavy. Occasionally, I'd find one that was light and non-greasy, but then it wouldn't provide any hydration at all - might as well not use anything. The only product that was non-sticky, non-heavy, and still somewhat moisturizing was Nivea's in-shower body emulsion. But that's a wash-off product, and I couldn't find anything similar for regular use in Korea. (I used to have options when I lived in the UK, but couldn't find anything here) This Bath & Body Works body emulsion is the first of its kind I've found here. When I heard Bath & Body Works had come to Korea, I rushed to the Gangnam Shinsegae store to buy it, and I'm so satisfied with how non-sticky it is. I'll definitely keep buying it. I've finally found my go-to body emulsion. It applies smoothly and evenly, provides good hydration, and once it absorbs, my skin feels soft without any stickiness or heaviness! The packaging is very convenient too. The wide flip-top lid is easy on the hands. The formula is light and moisturizing, making it easy to apply. The bottle is lightweight with a good grip, and the product dispenses easily when squeezed. The design is pretty too. The fragrance is wonderful, of course! All the scents available in Korea are lovely, but I chose the Japanese Cherry Blossom because it contains my favorite mimosa and jasmine notes. A Thousand Wishes and Champagne Toast have sweet, pink scents, while Into the Night is perfect for relaxing in the bedroom at night, with a subtle and atmospheric fragrance. I love that there are various fragrances to try. It's great to have different options for different seasons and moods. The subtle lingering scent on the skin is really nice. It's like a skin scent that becomes a part of you. I think it's good value for money too! Considering recent price increases, the quality and quantity at this price point isn't bad at all.
ConsIt's disappointing that there's only one offline store in Korea, at Gangnam Shinsegae near Goteok station. What's more, there's no official online shop, making it difficult to get deliveries. It's frustrating! There are some sales from warehouses through Shinsegae and such, but the available products vary, they're not always in stock, and the selection isn't consistent. Even just having an official Naver Smart Store would be great! Anyway, I'm so glad they've finally come to Korea! I hope they bring in more fragrances too!
TipBath & Body Works offers both body creams and body emulsions in all their fragrances, so you can choose whichever you prefer! The body emulsion is less moisturizing than the cream, but it's lighter and not sticky at all. There's no heavy feeling either. Even in this hot weather over 30°C and on humid days, it doesn't feel heavy when applied. If you dislike stickiness like me, go for the body emulsion. If you need stronger hydration, choose the body cream! They're available in all fragrances!
