The cleansing effectiveness is quite good. After washing, it seems to add volume to my hair.
ConsMy scalp feels itchy. I developed blemishes on my scalp. Those with sensitive scalps should be cautious.
TipFor those with oily scalps, start by using a small amount of shampoo to remove excess oil, then shampoo again thoroughly. This will leave your scalp feeling clean.

Softer hair texture: Unlike many anti-hair loss shampoos that can leave hair feeling stiff, this one made my hair noticeably softer. Fine and rich lather: The foam is finer and feels gentler than other shampoos. It also produces a luxuriously rich lather, perfect if you love a foamy wash!
ConsItchy scalp: Despite not having particularly sensitive skin, my scalp became itchy while lathering this shampoo. I thought it might be my imagination, but it happened repeatedly. Thankfully, the itchiness subsides after rinsing. Unpleasant scent: As someone who values fragrance and typically uses perfumed shampoos, I found the scent of this product disappointing.
TipDue to the itchiness during washing, I'm giving this 3 stars despite its other positive qualities.

It feels more convenient, especially when traveling or separating components, since there's a cap for the shampoo. The fragrance is lovely. I'm not sure if it's floral, but it's pleasant to smell while washing. After all, a nice scent while showering always lifts your mood! It lathers up well. This would be great for those with oily scalps. You can definitely feel your hair becoming stiffer after washing. While I haven't used it for over a month, I do feel like I'm losing less hair compared to before.
ConsIt might be a bit challenging to use if you have a dry scalp. A friend who tried it experienced some itchiness. If you have a very sensitive scalp, I'd recommend a gentler shampoo rather than this anti-hair loss one. The stiffening effect is both a pro and a con.
TipIt seems effective for its anti-hair loss function.

With a hint of floral, but the fragrance doesn't last long. ✔️Pros and Cons: ☑️ I have bleached and dyed hair for over 5 years, with length reaching just above my waist and thick volume. I'm particularly attentive to my scalp and hair condition. I use various hair care products like treatments, hair packs, essences, and ampoules. I also switch between different shampoos that are highly recommended. The main advantage of this product is that it doesn't cause any irritation or tingling, probably due to its good ingredients. It lathers well and feels gentle, which I appreciate. I also like that the bottle is transparent, allowing me to easily see how much product I've used. This is especially helpful since I tend to use a lot of shampoo.
Cons☑️ While it's marketed for hair loss prevention, I'll need to use it longer to be sure. I noticed my scalp felt slightly itchy in the afternoon... though that could be due to the hot weather and sweating. Currently, I'm alternating between this and my previous shampoo. So far, I haven't experienced any major downsides, so I'll continue using it consistently.

My experience with the Illysia Hibiscus Volume-Up Anti Hair Loss Shampoo was quite positive. Even with a small amount, it produced a rich, creamy lather and seemed to cleanse effectively. As someone who works outdoors in the summer, my scalp is often drenched in sweat, leading to itchiness and dull hair from sun exposure. However, after using this shampoo, even without a separate conditioner or treatment, my hair felt soft and full. Despite being in my 40s, I believe a youthful appearance comes from good skin and healthy hair, so I'm quite particular about my cleansers and shampoos. I focus on scalp care, believing it naturally leads to healthier hair. My routine involves thoroughly wetting my hair with lukewarm water, then massaging the shampoo into my scalp with a silicone brush and fingertips. I do a first wash, shower, and then a second shampoo. This product left me more satisfied than any shampoo I've used recently, leaving my hair soft and voluminous.
ConsThe downside I noticed was the overpowering scent, which felt quite harsh and stinging to the nose. Also, while it felt refreshing during washing, my scalp still itched after some time, possibly due to excessive sweating in the summer heat. I'd recommend this product for those seeking volume and soft hair, rather than for treating itchy scalps in hot, sweaty conditions.
TipFor those wanting to maintain long, full hair, brush thoroughly from scalp to ends before shampooing. Wet your hair and scalp well with lukewarm water. When shampooing, massage your scalp firmly with your fingertips, then work the lather through your hair, combing with your fingers to remove any tangles. Finish with a cool water rinse. I personally skip conditioner and treatments. After towel-drying slightly, I apply product only to the ends, wrap my hair in a towel briefly, then use cool air to dry my scalp thoroughly while letting my hair air dry. Minimizing heat exposure is key to my hair care routine. As someone aspiring to age gracefully like actress Park Joo-mi, I'm truly dedicated to hair and skin care. I hope this advice helps!

It's a product where you can see the contents inside. The fragrance is a subtle blend of menthol and citrusy floral notes. I thought it might focus solely on ingredients since it's an anti-hair loss shampoo, but that's not the case at all. It enhances volume while still smelling great. What's remarkable is that you notice the difference after just one use. With just one pump, the amount of lather is impressive. Despite being free from silicones, harsh surfactants, and other additives, its cleansing effectiveness is truly impressive.
ConsWhile there aren't any significant drawbacks, after about 6 uses, I noticed my scalp feeling a bit itchy in the afternoon. This might be due to oil production, as I have combination dehydrated skin on my scalp.
TipThe treatment is a smooth product that, when applied from the mid-lengths to the ends of your hair, maintains volume while leaving your hair silky smooth! I'm very satisfied and find it quite usable.

Its simple and clean design looks great anywhere you place it! Texture: It's a clear liquid, slightly thinner than a runny nose consistency. A little goes a long way in creating a rich lather. Scent: I love the pleasant fragrance every time I wash my hair, though it doesn't seem to linger long. The scent seems to dissipate quickly after rinsing. Effectiveness: While it's supposed to be good for hair loss, I can't tell yet - I'll need to use it longer to know for sure! I didn't experience any dryness after shampooing. However, I'm not sure if it's just my sensitive scalp, but I've been feeling itchy after using this product.
ConsMy scalp became itchy after use, and it's quite pricey for the amount you get. It seems to be sold exclusively on the Hwa*** app, which makes me a bit uneasy.

The transparent bottle makes it easy to see how much product is left. The wide opening allows for a generous amount with just one pump. It comes with a handy anti-spill necklace, perfect for long trips. It lathers up nicely even with just hand-foaming. The texture is like a clear, thin serum - it feels like you're holding honey in your hands! When you massage it into your hair, the foam is incredibly soft and rich, making for a luxurious experience. The scent lingers beautifully - you could almost use it as a hair perfume. I'm currently not feeling well due to COVID, so I'm experiencing more hair loss than usual. I'll need to use it longer to see if it helps with that. The smaller size means you can use it up before it expires. Personally, it feels more like a hair shampoo than a scalp treatment. Even without conditioner, your hair feels smooth and hydrated after washing, not dry at all. The moisturizing effect lasts, so I'd recommend it for those with dry hair. I have an oily scalp and thinner hair, but this gives my hair great volume!
ConsIt's not easily accessible - only available online and exclusively through the Wadiz app. As someone who mainly uses Naver Pay, I wish they'd set up their own website for easier purchasing. It's pricey for the amount you get, so I wouldn't recommend it for family use. The scent is a subtle hibiscus, but some might find it similar to dish soap - it could be hit or miss. Disappointingly, the fragrance fades when lathered. It may cause itching for those with sensitive skin. For oily scalp types, hair gets greasy quickly, so it's best used outside of summer months. Update 5/23/2025: I won this on Hwahae and have been using it since, but I still have half left. The amount is perfect for single use. However, I've encountered an issue - the bottle opening gets clogged, making it hard to dispense. I end up pumping more than usual. I hope they can improve this in future formulations.
TipI start with a pre-wash using my regular shampoo, then pump once of the Ilissia shampoo into my hand. I work it into a rich lather, then apply it to my scalp, massaging thoroughly. After letting it sit for about a minute, I rinse it out completely. The fragrance lasts so well that on days I'm going out, I'll wash my hair with Ilissia, blow-dry just my scalp, and head out.
