It has a light undertone. I'm not a fan of bright pink shades, but this one suits me well. I'm not sure if I'm just not good at using tints, but even with tints that claim to be long-lasting, they usually fade quickly on my lips. However, this one seems to stay on better than most. As for the scent, well, what can you expect for just $3? Anyway, the color is truly beautiful. Plus, there's a plastic device at the opening that helps control the amount, making it easy to dispense just the right amount.

Let me share a tip for even longer-lasting color. First, apply it to bare, dry lips to stain them. Then, gently blot off any excess with a tissue. Next, apply a base lip product, then layer your desired shade on top. Since it has that neon quality, I use a darker base lip color. Instead of swiping it across your lips, try dabbing it on in small dots. This makes it easier to control the amount of product you're using. Hope this method works for you!

It stains quickly, so you need to blend it out fast or it will set in the shape you applied it. I'm careful about this when applying. You also need to use less product than you might think, otherwise your lips will look too bold and floating compared to the rest of your face.
