There's a slight tackiness right after application, but once absorbed, it leaves skin feeling hydrated without any stickiness. The long-lasting moisture is impressive.  The emulsion has an inner cap, so I packed it for our vacation. With frequent outdoor activities, the kids' skin was in rough shape, but after cleansing and applying soothing gel followed by a generous layer of this emulsion, their skin quickly became soft and supple again.
