I bought this lightweight brightening moisturizer based on recommendations, and I'm really pleased with it! It's not too drying, nor is it overly rich - it's just right. It's reasonably priced for its quality, and I love that I can apply it as easily as sunscreen.

So I checked the ingredients and, well... it's not actually a functional product. It doesn't have any sun protection factor and lacks any special features. It's just a basic brightening moisturizer. I was planning to use the Doing What Filter Emulsion for weekend outings and the Dashu Tone-Up Emulsion for daily use during the week. However, when I use the Dashu Tone-Up Emulsion every day, it seems to cause some excess oil production on my face. The Filter Emulsion doesn't cause any such issues.

Among the brightening moisturizers on the market, this one gives the most natural brightening effect. My skin tone isn't great, so usually when I apply products, they give me a grayish cast. But this one brightens my complexion while seamlessly blending with my skin tone, without any unnatural look.

I recommend not applying it too thickly. Even if you need to touch up multiple times, it's better to spread it thinly, following your skin texture!

The staying power is a bit disappointing, unfortunately. Especially in the hot summer, it tends to slide off rather quickly, and the concealed blemishes start to become visible again. I'd say the staying power is about 4-6 hours.

I have dry skin with some blemishes, but when I use this after thoroughly moisturizing, it covers both blemishes and acne quite well! So when I go out, I apply a thin layer of this brightening moisturizer and follow up with sunscreen!
