If you have a lot of wrinkles or dry skin around your eyes, stick to eyeshadow rather than pencils. You might think a pencil would apply better, or worry that powder eyeshadow would look cakey and crease, but that's not the case. I used to only use pencils for aegyo-sal, thinking they'd work better. In reality, the moment I stepped outside, it would all disappear, leaving me looking like I'd been punched in the eye. The pencil would crease, smudge, and create messy edges. Surprisingly, powder eyeshadow actually stays put much better and gives a cleaner, longer-lasting result.

The price is the main letdown for this product. It's hard to justify the cost when you consider what you're getting. There are plenty of pencil eyeliners of similar quality out there. It seems like this one rode the trend of the teary-eyed, puffy aegyo-sal look, and their marketing was so effective that everyone (myself included) felt compelled to try it. While the color is pretty, it's not a miracle worker - you can't achieve that perfect peachy, puffy under-eye look with this alone. The creamy texture that I mentioned as a pro earlier becomes a con as you use it - it melts so quickly that you'll find yourself sharpening it often, which is frustrating given the price-to-quantity ratio. The staying power is weak too, as expected from a pencil liner. It fades and smudges over time, leaving a messy look. Honestly, you'd be better off using a reddish eyeshadow from a palette for a smoother, puffier aegyo-sal effect.

First off, the color is beautifully soft and subtle. The texture is creamy, so it glides on smoothly without any discomfort - it just melts onto the skin as you apply it. Being a pencil type, even if the staying power isn't the best, you can easily touch up on the go. The pretty color and creamy texture make it versatile enough to double as a lip liner too.

I love applying this all over my eyelids and lightly touching it to my aegyo sal - it makes my eyes look so delicate and chic! On days when my eyes look sunken, I like to use it instead of a base color to give me a radiant look 💖 And when used together with a deep-toned eyeshadow, the edges blend naturally, so even beginners can easily create a gradient effect. I use it on its own for daily makeup, but when I have plans, I layer it with a pearl eyeshadow for a beautiful shimmer 🪽

The color payoff is clear and delicate, so it may be disappointing for those who prefer vibrant colors or bold makeup looks. Particularly for those with medium to dark or cool-toned skin, the color can appear too muted or reddish. The adhesion is decent, but it can slightly clump if there is excess oil on the eyelids or the base is not fully dry. Since it's not a brush-tip type, there are limitations in precise application, and the lasting power may not be perfect all day long - it's especially vulnerable to sweat or tears, so using a setting spray is recommended! Lastly, the color is so subtle that it looks prettier in indoor or natural lighting settings rather than outdoors.

Just as its name 'Hwahae Salmon' suggests, the soft and delicate peach-colored hue glides effortlessly onto the eye area. The clear salmon color without any white tint is particularly suitable for spring warm-toned complexions, and it does not appear heavy when applied all over the eyelids, instead infusing the face with a youthful radiance. 🍑 The pigmentation is not fully opaque in a single application, but with a few layers, it develops into a transparent and luminous finish, making it perfect for everyday wear. The subtle pearl effect looks beautiful on its own, and it also blends harmoniously when used as a base color with other eyeshadows. The texture applies smoothly without any clumping, allowing for easy blending.

Personally, I feel like 'Peach Salmon' and 'Peach Fig' are quite similar in color, with the main difference being the presence of shimmer. You might be fine just purchasing one of the two!

This Two Cool eyeliner glides on smoothly with excellent staying power. Since my eye area tends to be dry, I usually avoid stiff or drying formulas no matter how pretty the color. But this one doesn't feel dry at all! The 'Peach Salmon' shade is a truly peachy apricot color that reminds me of actual peaches - I've been loving this shade. 'Peach Fig' feels like 'Peach Salmon' with added shimmer. 'Rosy Mute' is a brown with a hint of red, and while it's not a light shade, it would work well as an eyeliner too.

The stick format makes it so convenient to apply on the aegyo-sal! Thoughtfully designed, the aegyo-sal colors come out thicker than other liners. It gives your under-eye area a lovely pink tint without being overwhelming.

As someone who owns the entire Peach series, I can say this is an absolute must-have for warm-toned skin. Especially if you're warm-toned with pigmentation around the eyes, this is your holy grail!
