At first, I was a bit surprised thinking it had a whitening effect, but once it absorbed, I realized it could work well as a base for makeup! It's quite rich in oils, so I wouldn't recommend it for those with oily skin. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinJan 22, 2025
When using this product, it doesn't make you dramatically brighter, but it does give a subtle brightening effect! As someone who often goes out wearing just sunscreen, I appreciated this natural, slight brightening. Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes after using it. The downside for me, having sensitive combination skin with an oily T-zone, was that it felt a bit too rich. This product seems more suitable for those with dry skin rather than oily skin types! Given its rich texture, it's best to apply sunscreen first, then set with powder before using this product. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 3, 2024
If you have a similar skin type to mine, you'll likely be very satisfied with this product! (Check out my skin type tip below!) I don't usually use cushion foundations due to my sensitive skin, and I often go for a foundation-free look. This led me to try various tone-up sunscreens, making me quite discerning about them. I bought this sunscreen because it seemed similar to the cushion version in the same series. It does feel like a cushion, but with a slightly better cooling effect. The brightening effect is moderate, not too different from other tone-up sunscreens. Its staying power is also comparable to other products. The quantity is similar to others as well, making it a satisfactory product overall. Typically, tone-up sunscreens provide some color correction. I expected this one, with its green tint, to cover some redness, but it didn't perform as well as I'd hoped in that aspect. Also, it felt a bit too rich for my liking, which was slightly disappointing. Skin type: Dry + Combination, almost extremely dry. I usually avoid most skincare lines that claim to be hydrating because I dislike feeling deep dryness. Being dry-skinned, I often hear people say things like 'This isn't drying!' or 'This feels powdery on the outside but moisturizing inside!' However, when I try these products, they often end up being too drying for me. These days, I ignore such claims and focus on finding products that truly suit my skin type!
