  Pros

  It's addictive how well it softens sebum, making blackheads easy to remove with an extractor. The generous amount allows for liberal application.

  Cons

  The included cotton pads lack adhesion, requiring a generous spray to stick to the skin. However, the watery formula runs off when applied liberally, forcing you to constantly wipe the surrounding area while it works. It's quite bothersome.

  Pros

  I've been consistently using this Daiso pore cleaner, and it's fantastic! I'm always stressed about blackheads and pores, but this product is definitely effective. I was particularly surprised by its pleasant scent. Whether you apply it with a cotton pad or as a nose pack, after about 13 minutes, you'll see the sebum gently surfacing as white spots! When you clean it off, the sebum comes right out! I've tried other pore products, but considering its price, the Daiso pore cleaner seems pretty good. While it's not absolutely perfect, it does a decent job! I think it's probably a staple for anyone who's serious about pore care.

  Cons

  There's nothing to complain about! The scent is especially lovely. The price is also very reasonable, which I appreciate.

  Tip

  I leave it on for about 13 minutes. Most people do it for 15 minutes, but I'm not sure about that. I feel like if you leave it on too long, the sebum might go back in, so I remove it after that time and clean it off!

  Pros

  I think I use a larger version of this, but I tried this as an introduction to sebum softeners and it's great at extracting sebum. However, it's not quite enough to remove blackheads on its own. When I use this to dissolve the sebum and then follow up with the Extra Super9 Plus Sebum Softening Stick from the same line for cleansing, the blackheads on my nose completely disappear!! I use this whenever I'm concerned about sebum on my nose, and it even removes dead skin cells, leaving my skin incredibly smooth.

  Cons

  There weren't really any downsides, but if I had to pick one, it's that using this product alone and then washing isn't quite enough. You need to buy and use the stick product from the same company too!

  I'm currently on my second bottle of this product, which I bought from Daiso along with nose strips. There's a noticeable reduction in my blackheads. My routine involves applying the sebum cleaner generously on the nose strip, leaving it on as long as possible until it's almost dry, then removing it with a cleansing balm (I use Medicube Super Cica Deep Cleansing Balm). The results are truly impressive! The second photo shows my nose before use, and the third photo is after using the sebum cleaner. For just 3,000 won, it offers incredible value for money. I didn't expect dramatic results given the low price, but I'm so satisfied that I plan to repurchase.

  Cons

  The formula is quite runny, which makes it difficult to use without nose strips.

  Tip

  While the instructions suggest leaving it on for about 10 minutes, I apply it generously on a nose strip and leave it for as long as possible, around 30 minutes. However, those with super sensitive skin should be cautious! After removing it with a cleansing balm, my nose feels incredibly clean and clear.

  It feels like my blackheads have slightly diminished. The fragrance is quite strong.

  Cons

  I thought the Medipeel Sebum Softener would work well for me since the Medipeel Sebum Softener Stick suited me. I decided to try the smaller size just in case, and... oh no! I only applied it to my nose, but my T-zone and forehead turned red and developed tiny bumps. It didn't feel bad when I applied it, but the next day my skin reacted badly. I'm glad I didn't buy the full-size product, or it would have been a waste of money. I don't plan to use it again.

  Tip

  Make sure to try the smaller size before purchasing the larger one. Not recommended for super sensitive skin.

  I thought it might be irritating, but it wasn't harsh at all and the scent wasn't unpleasant either. Most importantly, the results were great. It's absolutely fantastic at dissolving blackheads on the nose.

  Cons

  I'm not sure if I was using it incorrectly, but it didn't seem to be very effective at dissolving whiteheads on my chin.

  After opening up my pores with a warm towel, I noticed a visible improvement in my blackheads. It's not a dramatic effect, which is actually good because that would probably irritate my skin. I'm quite satisfied with the results.

  While it does lighten blackheads somewhat, it doesn't seem to remove them completely. Also, as someone with sensitive skin, I experienced a slight tingling sensation, suggesting it might be a bit irritating.

  After using, it's beneficial to apply a hydrating skin pack or moisturizer to your nose for added hydration.
