I was amazed at how this product worked wonders on my chapped lips! When I slathered it on generously before bed, I woke up to incredibly soft and smooth lips the next morning. They even include a spatula as a gratis gift, which keeps your hands clean during application. The scent isn't bad either. If you're struggling with dead skin cells on your lips and hesitant about splurging on pricier options, you absolutely must give this a try! It's a bit disappointing that you can't store the complimentary spatula with the product itself, so you have to keep it separately. For those looking to get rid of dead skin cells on their lips quickly, try this trick: Apply a thick layer, wait 3-5 minutes, then gently buff with dental floss. Your lips will be smooth in no time! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinApr 5, 2025
Great value for the price. The scent is amazing - it makes you feel like a young girl when you apply it. The effects are not bad. It's... quite... very... extremely... sticky... really... incredibly sticky. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 3, 2025
The scent reminds me of strawberry candy, which I love. It's also pretty decent at removing dead skin cells. Unfortunately, the moisturizing effect is less than that of a regular lip balm. For the price of 3,000 won, it doesn't seem to offer great value for money. - Hwahae UserOily SkinFeb 15, 2025
There's a built-in seal inside, so even when the lid is open, it keeps dust out - that's great! I can't believe they include a silicone lip brush at this price point. The amount is surprisingly generous too - you can see it's filled to the brim of the visible container. It's so frustrating when products have a smaller inner container, but this one doesn't pull that trick. The scent is artificial, but it's more like peach than strawberry. The included lip brush is a bit odd. The thin part is so slim it's impossible to apply the lip balm with it. You might be able to use it for the corners of your lips, but even the thicker end is pointy, allowing for angled application. I really don't understand why it's there. I wish they had made the handle longer for a more stable grip instead. The texture isn't what you'd expect from a lip mask - it's way too light. You know that oily residue left on your skin after using a wrinkle stick? It's about that light. I was hoping for a thicker consistency. The hydration is terrible too. With such a thin formula, of course the moisturizing power suffers. It feels like applying a slippery lip balm, but it doesn't soften lip flakes, doesn't soothe, and lacks even the basic moisturizing power of a lip balm. When you wipe it off, your lips are in the same condition as before - still dry. I was tempted by the low price, but this just isn't worth it. Feels like wasted money, and I won't be repurchasing. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinDec 13, 2024
I used to use the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask, but it was a bit pricey, so I tried the Daiso one. Personally, I found the Daiso version even better than Laneige. It comes off more smoothly than Laneige. When I apply a thick layer before bed and wipe it off in the morning, my lips become as soft as a baby's bottom. The scent is lovely too. It's supposed to be berry, but it smells like peach-flavored chewy candy... haha! There's nothing bad to say! With such a wallet-friendly price and generous amount, what more could you ask for? Instead of using your fingers or the included spatula, it's much easier to apply with a cotton swab. Using cotton swabs is also more hygienic since you can dispose of them after each use. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinOct 20, 2024
It keeps your skin hydrated when applied before bed. Unlike Vaseline which goes on thick, this has a thinner consistency. It's great that it comes with a spatula. The scent is berry, but with a subtle hint of peach. It feels a bit slippery, but the amount is reasonable. Overall, it seems like a decent value for money. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinOct 9, 2024
I was worried it might be too thick, but it scoops out smoothly and applies well. It feels like applying a soft balm-type lip product without any stickiness. Since it's not sticky, you can apply it before bed without your hair getting stuck to your lips. It has a faint, familiar berry scent and leaves your lips feeling hydrated. After application, there's an artificial lip balm taste that lingers in your mouth. The product gives your lips a shiny finish, and since it's a scoop-out type and you can't keep the spatula inside, you have to store it on top of the container, which isn't very hygienic. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSep 26, 2024
First off, the value for money is incredible, as expected from Daiso. The quantity is generous, and it even comes with a spatula, which is fantastic. The size isn't too bulky, and while the scent is artificial, it's quite pleasant. The absorption isn't bad, and it provides decent hydration. It's lightweight, making it perfect for daily use. However, it doesn't provide any color to the lips. Personally, I'm not a fan of lip masks or lip products that feel oily or slippery. I prefer a more tacky texture. This one feels too slippery for my taste... Pro tip: You can stick the spatula to the lid with some thick double-sided tape to avoid losing it easily. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAug 13, 2024
The best thing is the affordable price. Great value for money in terms of performance. I bought this after finishing my Laneige lip mask, and I'm quite satisfied with its effectiveness considering it's several times cheaper. It's sufficiently hydrating and has a pleasant sweet scent. The ingredient list is a bit concerning... Hmm... While I didn't experience any specific issues, I'll have to think twice about repurchasing.
