While they're not necessarily more cost-effective or packed with extra sheets due to their thinness, there's something about them that makes you feel comfortable reaching for them without hesitation. A real plus is the perforated design that allows you to split the pad in half, making it easy to use on smaller areas of the face like the nose or chin.
ConsBeing thin pads, they can feel a bit drying if left on for too long. It's best to keep them on for only 5 to 10 minutes. Also, I found the pad's surface slightly rough. While this isn't an issue for general use, when using them with an exfoliating toner, the rough texture can cause a stinging sensation.
TipTrue to its name 'Calming Touch', these pads are great for soothing the skin and reducing heat when you need it! They're particularly useful during times when your skin tends to feel hot (mornings, before makeup, after showering, etc.). Gently placing them on your skin like a mask leaves it feeling cool and refreshed. The sensation is similar to applying a chilled hydrating essence or aloe gel. Since the pads are very thin and can be tricky to pick up with your fingers, make sure to use the included tweezers. Before use, double-check that you're only using one sheet. You can tell by seeing if your skin is visible through the pad - a single sheet should be somewhat transparent.
