While nothing can be perfect, the deep fragrance still leaves a lingering sense of disappointment.

The deep burgundy color is so beautiful, but I sometimes struggle to apply it properly. When I don't get it right, my lips can look stained or feel uncomfortably tight.
This color is so sophisticated though - it has a serene, moody vibe, almost like a tinted version of Tom Ford's 'Bruised Plum' lipstick.
You can really see Etude House's expertise in color development in this product. I bought it on a whim, but I'm so glad I did because the application is flawless.
The water-based formula makes it lightweight and long-lasting, without any dryness or unevenness. And the price is incredibly reasonable too! 👏👏👏

This tint is great when applied and then topped with a lip gloss or lip plumper - it leaves a glossy finish without dryness. I always apply a lip plumper over this tint.

At first it's moist, but after a while it quickly becomes dry. Not a lot, but there's a teeny tiny bit of a dryish feeling. It seems essential to moisturize with lip balm. (Based on my lips..)

I purchased this on February 6th, and the color is really pleasing to me. In reality, it's a bit darker than the photo. It's the exact color of a sweet potato peel, haha. The scent is sweet and sour, like grapes. The coloring is also very well done! It's very moisturizing.

Applying with a cotton swab makes dosage adjustment easy.

The yellow winter cool-toned formula was great for bare-faced application. It's also affordable and the coverage is not bad.

✔️Packaging Design
I got suckered into buying this because it said it was a limited edition Jelly Pang, but I should have just gotten the regular packaging. The cap feels like a kid's toy with that glittery, air-filled design, and the Dear Darling font and bear graphic look really tacky.

✔️Difficult to Remove
I used a lip and eye remover, but I still had to scrub a lot to get the inner lip stain to go away.

✔️Color
The name sounded like sweet potato, so I thought it would be a muted mauve color - perfect for a muted person like me. But when I applied it, it turned into a cherry color because it's a water tint that blends perfectly with my natural lip color. Even though my lips aren't that light, the pink tone ended up being stronger than the purple I expected.

✔️Staining
I bought this tint because it reminded me of something I used 10 years ago, and it's still the same - it really sinks into the lips and is hard to remove, even with a lot of scrubbing. That's why they include a remover, I guess. It doesn't feel like I'm just wearing tint, but more like my natural lip color is just really intense. I think it would work well with a bare face too.

✔️Texture
When I saw it in the container, it looked a bit sticky, but when I applied it, it went on like water. It has a slightly tacky feeling in the container, but not at all when it's on the lips. It used to be really slippery, but now it's more watery. Since I exfoliate my lips well, it doesn't feel drying at all.

✔️Fragrance
It still has the classic strawberry scent... I'm not a big fan of fragrant cosmetics, but this one isn't bothersome. It is quite strong though - you can really smell it when it's on your lips.
