I thought the Rom&nd lip balm would be more moisturizing, but surprisingly, the balm was drier while the tint was more hydrating and glossy! Reading many reviews, I noticed a lot of people saying it's a cool-toned product. Even though I have a deep undertone, it was a perfect match for me. I think its biggest advantage is that it suits all skin tones. Also, because it's affordable, I'd recommend it as a starter lip product for those wanting to try the glossy lip look.
ConsI'm not very sensitive to scents, so I don't mind the fruity fragrance. In fact, I quite like it. However, since artificial ingredients are inevitably used in fragrances, some people might not prefer it.
TipSince Bear Grape isn't a vibrant color, I wanted a brighter look. So I lightly dab on some MAC Chili first, then apply Bear Grape over it. Unless you have perfectly white teeth, wearing lip color looks better, but MAC Chili can turn into an awkward chili paste color when layered. When I went out after applying a light layer of MAC Chili and then Bear Grape on top, everyone complimented me on how pretty I looked! The glossy finish is really the charm point.
