The ingredients list could be better, unfortunately. For those extremely particular about color, it's not a true red, so I'd recommend testing it before purchasing.

I love that Nature Republic often has sales - I snagged this at 50% off! The scent is a delightful rose fragrance that wafts through the air. Highly recommended for rose scent lovers! The color is a blend of red, pink, and purple - think of it as a deep magenta. It's not overpowering, yet it definitely adds vitality to your look, perfect for an effortless, natural lip. Being a lip balm type, it's soft and moisturizing. I appreciate that I don't need to apply lip balm, lipstick, or tint separately.

It's perfect for a bare-faced look, and in a pinch, I've even used it as a cheek tint. It moisturizes well while giving a natural flush to the cheeks.

The only downside is that the container for my original grapefruit shade broke. Once you take out the product, it won't go back in. While the product itself is great, the packaging could be a bit sturdier.

I've been using Nature Republic's Essential Lip Balm in grapefruit, and I loved it so much that I decided to get the rose shade too!
