The coverage is a bit light, so it might be tricky to apply with a spatula, and mixing it with a concealer could be difficult if you have dry skin. I'm around shade 22, and the W1.5 shade matched me better, which is 23. It would be helpful if there was information on the right shade match when you first buy it. I couldn't get the hang of it, so I'll probably end up giving it to my sister. I use Estée Lauder Double Wear 2w0 Warm Vanilla. As soon as I received this product, I tried it without sunscreen and found it to be quite moisturizing and thinly applied. The coverage is medium, and I think it's a product that allows for a natural, thin application that results in a sophisticated yet natural-looking makeup. When I applied it to the back of my hand, I thought it felt silky, but I think the feeling can vary depending on how you apply the base. After trying it with a puff, foundation brush, and my hands, I found that the foundation brush (I used the Sephora Collection Pro Flawless Airbrush #56) best brought out the product's characteristics, giving a natural and thin application that I was very satisfied with. After using it a few times, I found the doe-foot applicator to be easy to use and control the amount, and I really liked the case as well.
