Skin feels tight and dry after 30 minutes. At first, I didn't notice, but the more I used it, small bumps and folliculitis gradually appeared. By the third day, red spots started forming on various parts of my face, along with painful, non-pustular blemishes. The jar packaging is inconvenient, and the narrow opening makes it difficult to scoop out the product.

Absorbs well with a light and fresh feel. Quickly sinks in without feeling heavy on the skin.

The only downside is I wish the bottle was a bit bigger.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin that gets oily but also dry and flaky when removing makeup or during seasonal changes, I absolutely love how this product hydrates deeply without leaving a greasy shine. It's perfect for lazy people like me - just smooth on your toner and apply this, and you're good to go!

Pro Tip:
This product alone might not be enough to fully hydrate your skin! It could be perfect for those who find serums too light and creams too heavy - try using it between your serum and cream steps.

- No spatula included: The lack of a spatula is a downside. I used a silicone spatula I bought from Coupang. You can purchase spatulas cheaply from Coupang or Daiso, which I recommend for those concerned about hygiene.

- Whitening effect...?: After writing this review, I noticed the product information claims whitening and anti-wrinkle effects. Perhaps due to the short usage period, I found it difficult to notice any whitening effects. I'll update this when I've finished the product.

- Subtle baby powder scent: While using, I noticed a faint but distinct cosmetic baby powder fragrance.

- Lightweight texture, quick absorption: As shown in the photo, it has a light texture that's half gel, half moisturizer. Due to its lightweight nature, I felt it absorbed into the skin quickly. While it didn't make my dry skin feel completely moisturized on its own, I could definitely sense some hydration being replenished.

- Clean feel without much stickiness: I appreciated that there was minimal stickiness after application. Some products can be so sticky that you need to wait before applying the next product, but with this one, I could move on to the next step in my routine fairly quickly.

- True to its role as a soothing cream: Overall, I think this is a solid product that fulfills its purpose as a soothing cream. The benefit of a soothing cream is that it evaporates more slowly than a soothing gel, but has less oil than a regular cream - and this product hits that sweet spot. It provides hydration without any heaviness, making it a good recommendation for those looking for a decent soothing cream.

- Gentle ingredients: Perhaps due to the lack of any cautionary ingredients according to Hwahae standards, my skin condition was good during the approximately two weeks of use. Some products can sting when applied, but this one didn't cause any discomfort at all, which was great.

There weren't any downsides. I'm planning to buy it again. Yeah... no complaints.

The excellent ingredients must be the reason I didn't experience any blemishes or itching while using it! I mainly applied it to dry areas on my body rather than my face, and it provided great hydration. I even felt like it slightly lightened some pigmentation. True to its name, this is indeed a soothing cream with a very light texture. The glass packaging makes it feel quite substantial. 

It's called a seaweed cream because it contains ingredients like ecklonia cava, hizikia fusiforme, and sargassum. Looking at the ingredient list, I noticed it's packed with many natural extracts.

This made me hopeful that even those with super sensitive skin could use it without worry.

While it's marketed as a soothing cream, which often implies a cool, summer-friendly product, it's not exactly that. It's more of a soothing cream with a slightly rich feel to it. 

As the product page suggests, storing it cool and applying it chilled can enhance the soothing effect, so I'll try that!

One jar of this soothing cream should be enough to get you through the summer with ease!
