I bought this product after hearing it brightens your complexion in two weeks, but I noticed an immediate brightening effect right after application. To be precise, it makes your skin look fairer. It leaves a powdery finish like a primer and even fills in pores. Personally, it felt more like a makeup base than a skincare product. The brightened complexion doesn't last and washes off completely when cleansing. After using it consistently for ten days, my skin felt congested and I experienced some itching. I even developed a few blemishes. It might actually work better if used as a makeup base rather than a skincare product. However, I'd suggest using it alone for a natural no-makeup look, without other cosmetics. It would be perfect for a quick overnight trip with friends when you want to avoid going completely bare-faced but still look natural. - Hwahae UserDry SkinDec 21, 2024
- Ultra-concentrated brightening moisturizer - Vitamin C boost for a clearer complexion - Helps improve signs of aging The trending skincare sensation on social media Dr. Melasin Pico Tonic Shot Pigmentation Cream This ultra-concentrated, rich formula not only destroys melanin pigments but also helps improve signs of aging with its Vitamin C content. With consistent use, I noticed a visible brightening effect and improved skin texture. It's hands down the most effective brightening product I've ever tried! The texture is thicker than expected, which affects how easily it absorbs. You need to carefully spread it while looking in the mirror. If I had to pick a downside, it would be the price... It's in the $50 range, which is a bit steep. I'd recommend purchasing it during a sale. Due to its rich consistency, it's best applied as the final step in your nighttime skincare routine! I've been using it 3-4 times a week, and I can feel my skin becoming brighter and my pores smoother. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinNov 25, 2024
There aren't many positives to mention, but I will say that it does brighten the complexion immediately after application. I hesitated due to the not-so-cheap price, but eventually bought it on sale with high expectations. Unfortunately, the user experience wasn't great. While others seem to like it, I wonder if I'm using it wrong. I've been using it only at night as part of my evening skincare routine. It doesn't seem to absorb well - or maybe my skin isn't absorbing it properly - as it feels like it's just sitting on top of my skin. After applying, there's a constant residue on my hands, either from the product itself or skin oils. When used alone, it severely emphasizes dead skin cells and creates a patchy look. I haven't used it for long, but after a few days, I've noticed it only brightens the skin tone temporarily right after application. By the next morning, my skin is back to its original state. I'm wondering if I'd see any real changes after finishing the whole bottle. I'm also using the ampoule from the same line, but I'm not seeing significant improvements. I probably won't repurchase this. If anyone who uses this product has any tips, please let me know! When used alone, it might emphasize dead skin cells, so it's best to apply it as the final step after your basic skincare routine. I have a feeling this isn't suitable to use under makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinOct 28, 2024
The next day after applying, my skin looks brighter. It feels like my pores have diminished a bit too. Despite having sensitive skin, I didn't experience any blemishes. It's great for a natural brightening effect. It's just a temporary complexion enhancer... And despite the ad claiming there's no water or brightening ingredients, I see purified water and titanium dioxide right there in the ingredient list!
