The powder is satisfactory - fine particles, minimal excess, and the tinted powder allows for additional coverage after concealer. In summary, it's somewhere between a powder and a powder foundation. I appreciate the color combination and quantity control space next to the mirror. Unlike other concealer palettes where you have to use the back of your hand, lid, or mirror, this product solves that messy inconvenience. It feels lightweight too.
ConsUnfortunately, the quality of the concealer itself is very disappointing. Texture-wise, it's thick and doesn't blend well. No matter how much I try with the brush, it barely picks up product... Even when applied to the skin, it's thick and settles into wrinkles badly, despite controlling the amount. The finish is matte and feels heavy. As for the color range, how can shades 17-19 all look so uniform when applied? They all just appear whitish with no difference in saturation. It absolutely can't cover dark circles. At best, it might cover faint marks or slight redness. Blending is pointless due to the lack of color variation, and the texture makes it tricky to blend with other products or foundation. The palette feels a bit bulky too.
TipThough it's a bit of a hassle, try warming the product with your fingers before applying with the brush... Using just the powder for light coverage is also an option.
