Instead of rubbing it in, try patting it on gently with your fingers and give it a moment to settle.

Since it's a water tint, it applies unevenly in some areas. With so many great tints available these days, I don't see any particular merit in purchasing this one.

I'm a big fan of Rom&nd lip products, so I tend to buy them whenever they come out. This one has a clear red shade that I think would suit any complexion. Being a water tint, it doesn't leave any residue and feels so comfortable on the lips - it's like you're not wearing anything at all. If you're looking for an affordable water tint, I'd definitely recommend this one.

I often go for a bare-faced look, so I frequently use water tints like Benetint. I also bought Etude's Dear Darling Water Tint, which is said to be a cheaper alternative to Benetint. As you can see in the photo, the color is identical to Cherry Ade. Surprisingly, the Etude product stains even more vividly and lasts longer. They advertised that it doesn't create a line, but that's not entirely true. This product also creates a line if you press your lips together after applying. Traditional water tints don't create lines either if you don't press your lips, so I don't think that's a significant advantage. The packaging is almost identical to Etude's Water Tint bottle, just slightly smaller. It's a rather outdated design.

Those with dry lips may find it too drying when used alone. For best results, pair it with a lip plumper, melting balm, or top coat for a beautiful finish.

The Apple Oz shade, once it sets and stains, can appear slightly intense. However, with 1-2 coats, it presents as a clear red. As you layer it, a deeper, slightly muted tone emerges. This could be due to the reviewer's naturally dark lip color.
