The adherence to the skin is fantastic, and the color is a beautiful ivory shade. I highly recommend this for those with dry skin!
ConsHowever, there's a slight darkening effect, so I'd suggest getting a shade or half a shade lighter than you normally would.
TipIt works wonderfully when used with the Peripera Ink Lasting Cushion Pang Pang Puff.

I really love Espoir's unique approach. The redesigned packaging is wonderfully simple, and I appreciate that you don't need to adjust the amount - it doesn't apply too thickly even without careful control.
ConsWhile it's moisturizing, those with very dry skin might want to build a solid skincare base before using this. The most crucial aspect, coverage, is... well, non-existent. There's also some darkening, causing the skin tone to drop about half a shade as time passes.
TipFor those with very dry skin, layering with a pad, mist, ampoule (or serum), and moisturizer as your base routine will prevent patchiness and give great results!

Despite many reviews mentioning poor adherence, I didn't experience that at all. The texture is all about the glow and hydration! It's not a cushion foundation. Unlike other cushions, it's dewy on the outside but matte inside. The surface has a natural, beautiful glow that looks like a glowy cushion, but underneath it feels powdery, as if it's been set. So I didn't need to apply additional powder. However, those with very dry skin might find it a bit drying. I loved how it applies thinly and evenly, with a pleasant cooling effect. The longevity was great for me too - no settling into nose creases or breaking down throughout the day.
ConsThere was a bit of darkening. Those who are sensitive to this might not be pleased. However, it doesn't make your complexion look worse, it just slightly deepens your skin tone.

If you want a slightly brighter look, I recommend choosing shade 20. This product truly gives a beautiful skin finish.
ConsUnfortunately, the coverage was quite disappointing. However, if you're not concerned about coverage and prefer a product that enhances your natural skin beautifully, I highly recommend this. Just keep in mind that it tends to darken quite a bit as it sets.

There was no pilling at all, and no flaking either!
ConsIt seemed to cause a bit of darkening, but everything else was fine.
TipWhen applying cushion foundation and powder, I recommend skipping powder on your cheeks. This way, you'll maintain that beautiful glow on your cheekbones.

It has an ivory base with a slight pink tint, which matches my skin tone (around shade 17-19) almost perfectly. ■ Skin Appearance The cushion gives a beautiful glow immediately after application. I love how it applies thinly and evenly, giving an overall clean look. ■ Coverage Considering how thinly it applies, the coverage isn't bad at all. It does a pretty good job covering small blemishes and blackheads on the nose! ■ Transfer Since it's a moisturizing glow cushion, there is some transfer. However, it's not excessively bad.
Cons■ Breakdown The breakdown is absolutely terrible! My chin area tends to be dry, so cushions often separate there, but this one was a disaster after about 4 hours. The product on my chin was completely separated, and when I tried to pat it to blend, it only made it worse, even causing some cracking. ■ Darkening Oh my, the darkening with this cushion is severe! The initial color was only about half a shade lighter than my skin tone, but after some time, it darkened to more than a shade darker than my original skin color... ■ Dryness For a glow cushion, it's incredibly drying. While it looks dewy on the surface, the deep dryness is extreme. After wearing it for a while, pores and texture become very noticeable. I even experienced skin itchiness and irritation to my blemishes. ■ Scent I'm usually very sensitive to fragrances, and this one is really unpleasant. It has that artificial cosmetic smell that feels irritating on the face.
TipIf you're someone who doesn't usually feel dryness and wants a light, slightly moisturizing cushion, then go for it! Although it's called a glow cushion, it's actually not suitable for dry skin types. It's that kind of product.

I usually use shade 21, but 20 matched me well. With proper amount control, it applies thinly and naturally without feeling heavy. The coverage is lower than expected.
ConsPerhaps because I have dry skin, even after proper skincare and application, I felt some deep dryness as time passed, especially in this season. It darkens and when it breaks down, it seems to emphasize dead skin cells. It crumbles and makes my skin look worse than bare skin. The color looked like a beautiful ivory shade at first glance, but for some reason, it has a strange grayish tone when applied. Since I prioritize color and darkening when buying cushions, I probably won't repurchase this. In the photo, the brighter one is Espoir, and the darker one is Amuse 1.5.
TipConsider buying just the refill first to try it out.

But honestly, I can't think of anything truly good about this product. It all just pills up.
ConsThe makeup slides off, leaving finger marks and mask imprints everywhere. Within an hour, the cushion foundation completely disappears, making my skin look even darker. What's worse, I used to have flawless skin, but this product completely ruined it. I'm seriously stressed out because of this...
TipWhether you have dry, sensitive, or combination skin, just don't buy it. It's all just marketing hype.

ConsThe coverage tends to be a bit on the lighter side, and there's a slight tendency for darkening over time

I'm not usually a fan of Espoir cushions, but I'm quite satisfied with this new release. Rather than an obvious shine, it gives a natural, luxurious glow, just as the viral reviews claimed.
ConsIf you don't properly prep your skin, you might feel some deep dryness. While the darkening isn't severe, it's not entirely absent either.
TipIt can pill if you don't properly remove excess sebum and dead skin cells before application. The skin finish might not be as expected if you don't exfoliate regularly, so I recommend periodic exfoliation before applying.
