  Pros

  I tried the serum and liked it, so I decided to give the cream a go too. Using them together really seems to work wonders for evening out my skin tone! My complexion looks noticeably brighter!

  Cons

  However... ever since I started using these products, I've noticed whiteheads popping up on my face.

  If you have super sensitive skin, absolutely avoid using this. After applying this product, I got acne for the first time in my life. My face became red and felt a tingling sensation.

  Skin type: After cleansing, my skin is generally dry overall, but after a while, there's a slight oiliness in the T-zone. While I have sensitive skin, most cosmetics work well for me if they're deeply hydrating and have gentle ingredients. Pros: It feels like a typical cream, which seemed suitable when applied to dry areas. The scent is pleasant, and it absorbs well!

  When my skin was in poor condition, it was hard to judge, so I tried using it on a day when my skin was good. However, the next day, red, bumpy blemishes appeared, and small bumps popped up on my forehead. I thought it might be temporary, but it hasn't subsided for over three days. It's been a while since my skin suddenly reacted this badly, so it's hard to get it under control.

  Tip

  I wouldn't recommend this for those with sensitive facial skin. While my skin might be more sensitive due to the changing seasons, there's one acne-prone ingredient in the product that might have caused more skin issues. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be able to continue using this product.

  First, thank you for selecting me as one of The Hwahae Testers! I've used this product three times over the course of a week. Application: 5/5 It applies smoothly and feels moisturizing. There are tiny particles in the cream, but they're so fine you can't feel them, so there's no irritation on the skin! Hydration: 4/5 Considering its texture, it's incredibly moisturizing with a nice rich feel. After applying, there's a subtle glow to the skin texture. It feels like a very thin moisturizing layer has been applied. This moisturizer seems suitable even for those with dry skin! However, if applied in the morning, those with oily skin might find their makeup sliding off. As I have oily skin, I only applied it at night. For other skin types, it seems fine for daily use! Blemish improvement: Inconclusive After a week of use, I couldn't really tell. I'm not sure about blemishes... and I couldn't really notice if my complexion became brighter or clearer. I think I'd need to use it longer and more consistently to feel the effects of a brightening moisturizer! I think using this along with other whitening products might create a synergistic effect!

  ❗️ Like other reviews mentioned, the scent is not great. It's too artificial... It feels like I'm applying hand cream to my face rather than a skincare product. ❗️ This is the only change in my usual skincare routine, but after about three days of use, I got a lot of folliculitis on my forehead... When I checked the ingredients on Hwahae, there didn't seem to be anything that would cause this, so I was really surprised as this has never happened before. I'm currently treating it with medication and have stopped using the cream. Those with super sensitive skin should be cautious!

  My skin type is 'sensitive+combination'. The product has good absorption and doesn't leave a rich feeling on the skin. I used it for about a week to ten days. Initially, I experienced some minor blemishes, but after a week, my skin settled down. Rather than fading specific marks, I noticed an overall brightening effect on my complexion!

  Cons

  Given my super sensitive skin, I experienced some redness and blemishes for about 4 days when I first started using it. (This tends to happen with most brightening products I use, unfortunately.)

  Tip

  I found it most effective when used at night. For those without sensitive skin, using it both morning and evening might yield even better results!

  I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers, so I'm writing this review after using the product for a week. My skin type is extremely dry. When using this product, I followed the routine of exfoliating toner, ampoule, Redeu Shot, and then moisturizer. I also mixed it with the Redeu Shot. Packaging: It comes in a tube format that you open by twisting the cap and squeeze to use. It's very easy to control the amount. Texture: While it's quite rich, it doesn't run and applies smoothly.

  Cons

  It was a bit too oily even for my extremely dry skin. I'm not sure if this product is the cause, but I noticed some minor blemishes appearing. I'll use it a bit longer and provide an additional review on this.

  Tip

  When mixed with Redeu Shot and applied, even a small amount seems to provide sufficient hydration.

  Dermafirm Soothing Repair Cream! It's all the rage these days. They've reduced glutathione to a size that's easily absorbed by the skin, enhancing both absorption and effectiveness. This product claims to tone down three types of skin concerns - dark spots, freckles, and blemishes - while improving your overall complexion. I was really excited to try it out! First off, it absorbs beautifully and sinks into the skin with a lovely moisturizing effect. The texture is fantastic. It's perfect for the dry transitional seasons - not heavy, yet provides long-lasting hydration. However, I have super sensitive skin, and unfortunately, I developed a skin irritation the day after my first use (see the last photo). My cheeks became so irritated that I won't be able to continue using it. I've passed it on to a family member with more resilient skin. If they notice any tangible effects, I'll update my review.

  Cons

  Not recommended for sensitive skin... I developed a skin irritation, which is saying something as I have arguably the most sensitive skin among people I know.

  Perfect for the current transitional weather! It seems to have just the right balance of hydration and richness. I loved how it absorbed without feeling greasy, and my skin didn't feel dry in the morning. Although it's called a soothing cream, it's not as lightweight as you might expect.

  The fragrance of this product is surprisingly strong. It does fade over time, but those with sensitive noses might want to steer clear. I have combination skin leaning towards dry, and I've never had a bad reaction to skincare before. However, after applying this in the evening, I woke up with what looked like a flushed, heated appearance. To test, I applied my usual cream on one cheek and this cream on the other. The side with this cream still showed signs of irritation with a warm sensation and red spots.   As the temperature rises these days, I've found a routine that works well. After cleansing in the morning, I apply just a small amount evenly across my face. In the evening post-cleanse, I use a more generous amount, gently spreading it without patting. Letting it absorb naturally for a moment actually leaves my skin feeling even more hydrated!

  I stopped using it after 4 days (I'll explain why in the cons section). Actually, everything except the downside I mentioned below is great... it's just that one issue is too critical. First off, it absorbs wonderfully. You can evenly apply it with just a small amount. And the brightening effects were noticeable even in a short period! I could see that the pigmentation from a blemish I got two weeks ago had faded. Plus, my face seemed brighter overall? Above all, the hydrating effect is really impressive. At first, I applied the same amount as my usual cream, but it felt a bit rich in the morning. So the next day, I used just a pea-sized amount, and it kept my skin moisturized all night.

  Despite its amazing benefits, I had to stop using it because of blemishes... After one use, I noticed tiny bumps appearing here and there on my face. I thought they'd go away after a few nights, but boy was I wrong. One of them on my cheek turned into a massive, unpoppable blemish, causing me so much stress that I'm now visiting a dermatologist. What a disaster in a spot where I've never had issues before. I regret possibly applying it too thickly at first. What's the point of fading old pigmentation marks if new ones are being created?! Still, the hydrating effect is so good that I'm planning to use it as an eye cream substitute.

  Make sure to apply it in a thin layer!
