As someone in their 20s with combination skin, I tend to get blemishes when my skin gets oily (especially in the T-zone). ✨ I loved how thinly it adheres to the skin while keeping it moisturized! It creates a smooth skin texture too. ✨ The puff is incredibly soft, bouncy, and velvety - I absolutely adored it! Its teardrop shape made it easy to apply even in tricky areas like around the nose and under the eyes. ✨ I didn't experience any blemishes after use, and there was no pilling during application. ✨ While it creates a smooth complexion, the coverage isn't particularly high. If you're looking to conceal blemishes or scars, you might need a concealer. ✨ The before and after photos show the results right after application and 9 hours later without any touch-ups. There was no creasing around the nose, but there was slight lifting, and the longevity could be better. ⚠️ If coverage is a priority for you, you'll need a concealer! ⚠️ Although it's marketed as a pore-caring cushion, I'm not sure if its pore-minimizing effects are significantly better compared to other products. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinFeb 12, 2025
Case & Puff: Compact and slim, making it convenient to carry around. The puff has an incredibly soft and bouncy texture. It's my first time encountering this type of puff, and while it felt unfamiliar at first, I'm satisfied as it seems to allow for a light application with minimal pressure, which is perfect for those who prefer a sheer makeup look like myself. Formula: You need to be very careful with the amount you use. The spongy texture means that pressing too hard will dispense too much product. To use the right amount, you need to apply it with a very light touch, barely pressing down. It has a semi-matte finish with medium coverage for blemishes. As for pores, gently patting with the puff provided decent coverage. The plastic material of the cushion case makes it look a bit cheap. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 12, 2025
True to its name as a pore care product, it effectively conceals pores without clogging them. The thin and cool application, along with the mesh, makes it more hygienic. It matches well with my skin tone, which is lighter than shade 21, brightening naturally without looking artificial - the tone correction is effective, giving a natural look as if I originally had bright skin. The cushion has a nice, firm texture. The staying power is better than expected. The moisturizing application feels hydrating, which could be good for combination dehydrated skin in winter. The case is slim and compact. The blemish coverage is somewhat disappointing. When it starts to break down, it doesn't look pretty, and as it dries out in the office, it begins to lift slightly... While the staying power is good, so it doesn't come off easily, there is some patchiness. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinFeb 9, 2025
- Complexion: Since I'm shade 22, I used it as a highlighter on my forehead, nose, and upper cheeks. - Coverage: Well... perhaps due to its moisturizing nature, it doesn't provide exceptional coverage. - Finish: It doesn't leave a powdery finish, but rather a supple, elastic feel. - Application: It applies very smoothly. It spreads easily, almost like applying a serum, but with a slightly thicker consistency. - Longevity: Since I only used it as a highlighter, the staying power wasn't bad. If you're looking for longevity and brightening effects rather than coverage, I'd recommend it. - Texture: The cushion texture is quite unique. When you press it, it feels like touching a clay path. At first, I kept pressing it out of curiosity, but I liked that it didn't dispense too much product - just the right amount. The coverage is disappointingly low. Also, as I have extremely dry skin, it made my skin feel dry immediately after application, which was quite disappointing. However, it might work well for those with oily skin. For those with dry skin! If you mix it 1:1 with a multi-balm before applying, it lasts much longer and doesn't dry out your skin compared to using it alone. This is truly a winter skincare tip that works hard for your skin. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinFeb 7, 2025
I used this product every single day from February 1st to February 6th :) As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I wore it for about 7 hours while out and about. First, the positives! Unlike my previous cushion, this one has a mesh screen, and the puff is incredibly soft, making it easy to control the amount and apply smoothly. After applying a solid skincare base and layering it thinly, I found it wore beautifully without needing touch-ups. I love a matte finish, so after setting it with powder, it develops a slight glow that creates a beautiful complexion. The cushion itself has a very matte finish, which worked well for me, but it might be too drying for those with dry skin. Nonetheless, this cushion is definitely in my top 5 products, and I intend to repurchase it! It's also piqued my interest in trying Jung Saem Mool cushions, which I haven't used before. Despite being shade 19, it didn't feel extremely light. When I tested it on my wrist, it was a perfect match, which I actually liked! (Usually, shade 19 tends to look slightly lighter than my skin tone) Because of the mesh screen, it's easy to control the amount, resulting in very thin layers. This means you need to apply multiple layers for full coverage, which might be a bit inconvenient if you're looking for quick application. For those with combination dehydrated skin who use matte cushions! Apply toner twice, followed by a light layer of serum, and then either sunscreen or sun essence. If you let these three products absorb well into your skin, your makeup will apply beautifully and last all day long.
