The formula flows like water and absorbs lightly into the skin. 2. After absorption, it leaves a slight oily film, but with minimal stickiness. It doesn't leave an oily residue on your hands, making it less sticky overall. 3. The mysterious blue-tinted serum comes in a glass bottle with a dropper, giving it an enchanting look. (Many serums come in plastic containers, but personally, I find glass bottles more environmentally friendly and luxurious-looking compared to plastic ones.) 4. The transparent glass container makes it easy to check how much product is left and ensures hygienic use. 5. It absorbs into the skin incredibly fast. Unlike other serums that require several seconds of massaging, this one sinks right in with just a light application - the absorption is fantastic! 6. The oil and moisture balance seems to be perfectly formulated. As someone with very dry skin, I usually use 1-2 full droppers, but even with just one application, this serum creates a lightweight, non-greasy layer that keeps my skin hydrated for a long time. It doesn't feel heavy when applying other skincare products afterward, which is great. 7. The high-quality ingredients make it a trustworthy product to use without worry.
Cons1. If not purchased on sale, it's quite expensive for the amount you get. (It's best to buy it when it's discounted.) 2. The scent is... unique. There's no noticeable smell when you sniff the bottle directly, but once applied to the skin, it has a distinct aroma. It's hard to describe - maybe a mild fish sauce or ointment smell? It could be hit or miss for some people. However, the scent dissipates quickly and isn't overpowering or unpleasant. Of course, personal preferences may vary. The product would be even better if they improved the fragrance.
TipThe texture feels great when applied and isn't oily, so you can layer it multiple times on dry areas without it feeling heavy. This makes it perfect for targeting particularly dehydrated spots on your skin.

I have dry and super sensitive skin, and after giving birth, if I slack off on skincare even a little, dead skin cells quickly build up. Even my favorite moisturizing cushion from before pregnancy now pills and flakes on my skin. This product has a watery consistency like a toner, but once you pat it in, you can feel the hydration and a slight richness without being greasy. It leaves your skin feeling plump and gives you that Inner Glow rather than looking oily. It creates a great base for the next steps in your skincare routine and plays well with other products. I highly recommend this as the first step in skincare for those with dry, flaky skin!
ConsThe packaging mentioned a unique scent, but I detected an alcohol-like smell. It's only noticeable at first and doesn't linger.

This time, I tried the Anua PDRN Hyaluronic Acid 100 Capsule Serum. It has a thinner consistency compared to typical serums, giving a slight runny feeling on the skin. While I'm used to thicker serums and ampoules, I initially found this watery texture a bit unusual. However, it quickly won me over by providing hydration and a soothing effect without any irritation, making it incredibly comfortable to use. I really felt like it was working hard to strengthen my skin barrier. The combination of salmon DNA (PDRN), hyaluronic acid, and collagen seemed to agree well with my complexion. This experience made me realize that the coveted "inner glow" is directly linked to a fortified, healthy skin barrier.
ConsWhile the product doesn't contain potentially irritating fragrances, you might notice a slight medicinal scent. It wasn't particularly bothersome, but it would be nice if they could improve this aspect in the future.
TipI apply this serum morning and night, but I've found it especially effective to layer on an extra dose before bed, followed by a moisturizer. When I wake up after this nighttime routine, my skin feels noticeably firmer and more resilient.

Absorption: It absorbs well into the skin. Review: This product seems to focus more on elasticity and glow rather than deep hydration, despite containing collagen and PDRN! It provides moderate hydration, but you might need to apply it 2-3 times for a more intense moisture boost. Unlike the Wellage ampoule I used before, it doesn't give that deep hydration feeling. However, it definitely improves skin elasticity! The glow isn't dramatic, but it's noticeable. Interestingly, although not mentioned in the product description, it seems to have some brightening effects! Overall, it gives your skin a revitalized look. With its decent glow and high absorption, you could even apply it once before makeup.
ConsAs someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, I was glad it didn't cause immediate blemishes. However, due to its lack of intense hydration, it disrupted my skin's oil and moisture balance, leading to breakouts a few days later. I'd recommend using this alongside a product that addresses deep dryness. Also, it has that distinct PDRN scent - kind of like a vitamin smell? It's faint, so it's okay, but some might not like it.

Like other ampoules, it provides instant hydration. The moisturizing effect seemed to last about three hours. - However, when used with other hydrating creams, it shows truly outstanding results. Compared to using cream alone, it feels 100 times more hydrating and makes skin smoother. Even with short-term use, you can visibly see skin improving. When applied before bed, skin remains moisturized and smooth-looking until evening the next day! - I happened to receive this during a period of severe air pollution (my skin was in terrible condition). But after using this ampoule before bed and applying a generous amount of cica balm, my blemishes had all calmed down by morning. Using cica balm alone never achieved this before! I'm not well-versed in ingredients, so I'm not sure if this product specifically helps with blemishes. Still, I thought I'd mention it in case it's helpful.
Cons- It has a distinct scent. I'm not usually sensitive to smells. While I've noticed various drawbacks in cosmetics before, I've never felt that a product's scent was unpleasant. However, when I first applied this product, I felt slightly uncomfortable. How should I describe it... like an old-fashioned men's aftershave scent? I'm not sure how to explain it... It was a bit difficult for the first two days, but by the third day, I seemed to have gotten used to the smell and didn't notice it as much. Now I just apply it without thinking. I feel that people who are sensitive to scents might find it difficult to use.

It absorbs well and gives a wonderful feeling of hydration building up in the skin.
ConsWith continued use, although it's not severe, one side of my cheeks seems to get slightly red. Also, the scent is a bit like alcohol or some chemical-like smell, which is unfortunate.

Texture: While it has a runny consistency, it feels like it has some viscosity when applied! Despite being fluid, it's not extremely lightweight and I could feel a slight oiliness too. Application: It doesn't have that greasy feeling on the surface, so it's great for layering multiple times like an ampoule! It's not the type of hydrating ampoule that dries quickly, so those with dry skin like me will likely be satisfied. It definitely feels more moisturizing, as expected from a serum. Also, one dropper-full is enough to cover the entire face! Ingredients: As someone with sensitive, blemish-prone skin, I experienced no irritation at all and actually found it quite gentle! Anua products are known for their good ingredients, and I've been using their pads regularly. This serum also has mild ingredients, making it suitable for those with super sensitive skin.
ConsScent: I noticed a slight fragrance, so those sensitive to scents might want to consider this! It's close to being unscented, but there's a faint artificial-like scent. However, it wasn't strong enough to cause significant discomfort!

Usually, I just wipe my face with a toner pad and apply cream, but lately my skin has been feeling dry, easily irritated, and my makeup wasn't sitting well. So I decided to give this a try. Despite its unique scent, I persevered and used it consistently. I'm impressed by how well it absorbs and how hydrating it is. After applying, my makeup seems to adhere better than before!
ConsWhile it didn't cause any blemishes, and actually seemed to fill in my skin with moisture, reducing the appearance of small bumps, the fragrance was... oh, the fragrance! It was fishy and unpleasant. I went to Olive Young today and smelled the same product, which had a nice scent. I wonder if they've reformulated it? The one I received has a terrible smell, but the hydration is so effective that I'm enduring it and continuing to use it. The scent is like omega-3 supplements... or maybe old nurungji candy? Or kimbap? I can't pinpoint it exactly, but it reminds me of a bad-smelling vitamin supplement.
TipThe texture is similar to the essence in sheet masks, and it absorbs quickly. I'm applying it not just on my face but all over my body. If you're sensitive to fragrances, quickly apply your next skincare step right after this product. That way, the scent will be masked and fade, making it more tolerable for continued use.

This winter, my skin was exceptionally dry, to the point where any makeup would flake unless I used an ultra-rich cream. However, while using this product, my makeup settled better and I could visibly see significant improvement! The texture is completely water-like, so I didn't even expect it to provide good hydration. But its absorption is really excellent, giving a feeling of deep moisture, and it seems to finish with a firm, bouncy feeling on the skin. The amount dispensed with one use of the dropper is generous, which is great. I always try new products on their own at first, and even with just this alone, there was hardly any deep dryness! Thanks to this, the stress from my rough skin has greatly reduced. While the regular price is a bit steep, I think it's worth purchasing at the Hwahae discount price!
ConsThere wasn't anything particularly disappointing, but the scent is a bit unique and artificial, which might be hit or miss for some people. However, the product's performance is so good that the scent wasn't overly bothersome.

On days when my skin isn't properly hydrated, I feel twice as dehydrated and can only dream of that coveted Inner Glow. That's why my winter essentials include toner, serum (or ampoule), and moisturizer. Just as I ran out of my previous ampoule, the Anua serum came as a welcome addition to my routine. Scent: While it's meant to be fragrance-free, there's a subtle artificial scent that's barely noticeable. During my 10-day trial, I detected a faint soybean oil-like scent that quickly dissipates after application. It's not a lingering, bothersome smell, but rather a fleeting one. After testing on the back of my hand before writing this review, I confirmed that the scent is only present immediately after application and completely disappears once absorbed. Texture: The consistency is thin, almost tear-like, and rolls off quickly. When it falls from the dropper onto the skin, it feels very watery. However, as you massage it in, you might think, 'Oh, there's a bit of richness to it.' Once fully absorbed, it leaves the skin feeling as smooth as if you've applied a primer. Absorption: Excellent Hydration: Above average Pre-use blemishes: Had some small, reddish bumps Post-use blemishes: Existing blemishes were soothed and calmed Effectiveness: As mentioned, my skin gets extremely dry in winter, and without proper care, I experience deep dryness. Plus, skin texture always frustrates me when applying foundation. However, the Anua serum impressed me with how well it addressed my dry, dehydrated skin. While I noted below that it didn't resolve texture issues when used alone, when combined with a moisturizer, it created an upgraded skincare routine with double the hydration. Lastly, it made my dry, lackluster skin look plump and gave it a subtle Inner Glow. Day by day, I enjoyed experiencing how the Anua serum improved my skin's condition. Step 1. Does it address deep dryness? YES Step 2. Does it leave a slippery residue? NO Step 3. Does it resolve skin texture? NO Step 4. Does it improve skin condition (Inner Glow/firmness)? YES
ConsPoints to consider: If you absolutely can't stand even the slightest artificial scent, you might want to think twice. However, keep in mind that it evaporates quickly, which is a plus. The product really does roll off your face the moment it touches your skin! Apply it with your face slightly tilted to ensure it all absorbs into your skin and doesn't end up on the floor. Honestly, I didn't experience any other issues with this product.
TipPro tips for achieving that dewy Inner Glow and firmness: 1. After cleansing, apply toner (as many layers as your skin can handle). 2. Apply a generous amount of Anua serum to boost hydration and improve skin condition. The toner helps the Anua serum absorb better. But for even better results... 3. Use a modeling mask while chanting 'absorb well' for an extra boost! Try this - I achieved brighter, firmer, smoother skin with ample hydration. Tip: If you have a foundation or cushion that's too matte for your skin, try mixing it with this serum before applying. It prevents caking and helps you get more use out of products that might not work well on their own. Additional note (after extended use): Applying 2-3 layers completely eliminates deep dryness by the next morning.
