However, when Wake Make's formula changed oddly, NAMING rose to become my new favorite. Among mid-range brands (excluding department stores), I found it has the finest particles and excellent pore-blurring effects. There's a slight excess of powder, but the pigmentation is so good that even the thinnest application gives a natural contour for shade 13. If you liked the unique powdery texture of NAMING's cheek products, you'll love this. In close-up shots, the volumizer part looks lighter than the cool grey shade, but when applied to the face, the cool grey volumizer actually appears brighter. For shade 13, the warm brown volumizer doesn't provide any highlighting effect and should be used just as a powder. Rather than expecting it to enhance volume, anticipate a clean, polished look with skin texture blurring. Personally, I prefer products that dramatically enhance volume even if they have thicker particles and feel heavier, so Revesang and Wake Make remained unbeatable for me. However, the Clear Cool Grey has a hint of dullness in the volumizer, so if you have a skin tone of 21 or higher that extremely rejects ashiness, I recommend the warm shade.
ConsI bought this solely for the volumizer, but as expected, the contour was too yellow and dark. I depotted it and replaced it with the left color of the TAGS Mono Cool. These days, even warm-toned contours tend to be more neutral, but this one has an honestly warm temperature. It's like the discontinued Espoir Light Grey with two drops of yellow added. The mold is compatible with TAGS contour, so if the contour doesn't work for you like it didn't for me, I suggest depotting and using it that way.
