It absorbs beautifully and smoothly. When I apply it before bed and wake up in the morning, my blemishes and acne are noticeably calmed, and my skin looks remarkably improved. I highly recommend this for acne-prone skin! The only downside is that it's a bit on the pricier side... I used to buy another brand's phyto-essence, but it was too expensive. So when this one went on sale in the 30,000 won range, I stocked up on several bottles. The application is smooth and the price is great. I'd only buy it when it's on sale though, never at full price. I haven't tried the original version, so I'm not sure how it compares, but this product gave me deep dryness that I didn't have before. I have extremely dry skin and need to apply heavy moisturizers even in summer (I'm obsessed with hydration due to my dry skin). Strangely, when I use this, my face feels tight. Is it supposed to be firming? It feels dry and tight, and nothing I do helps. I bought the Cica cream to use with it, but I'm not sure if that's moisturizing either. It doesn't feel like it's adding hydration, so I've stopped using it and it's just sitting there unused. I checked the review section and saw a few people with similar experiences. When someone complains about dryness, they're told to add more hydration or that their skin barrier is damaged. As someone with very dry skin who prioritizes moisture and hydration over firming and brightening (my skin lacks both oil and moisture), I really don't understand. I've never had this issue with other regenerating creams. It's puzzling that they recommend adding more moisture when using the Cica cream, which is supposed to be moisturizing. Also, isn't this supposed to be a regenerating cream? (What ingredients are good for regeneration? Everything seems to be about hydration.) Shouldn't a regenerating cream provide moisture too? (I used to use a different regenerating cream that covered my whole face with just a small amount, but this one needs to be layered.) I wonder if the people praising this product weren't taking good care of their skin before. I'm not sure what to do with the 20 or so jars I have left. It seems the reviewer is experiencing unexpected dryness and tightness from a product that's supposed to be moisturizing and regenerating. They're frustrated because the product isn't working as expected for their very dry skin type, despite trying various methods and combinations. The reviewer is also questioning the advice given to other users experiencing similar issues, finding it contradictory or unhelpful. Great for a foundation-free look! Apply after hydrating your skin for excellent regenerative effects. Not ideal if your skincare routine isn't solid. Can be very drying, and the scent leaves something to be desired. Perfect for a foundation-free approach! When I apply a generous amount at night and wake up in the morning, my skin feels plump as if something has been filled in. The glow that remains even after washing my face is an added bonus! As it's a functional regenerating cream, it lacks in hydration. When used alone, my skin feels tight and dry. I bought this after seeing all the rave reviews. While there's no dramatic effect, I'm just glad it doesn't cause any blemishes. The scent is unpleasant and the amount is really small. The paint on the case peels off, getting all over your hands when applying. If I had paid full price, I would have regretted it. I don't understand why people praise it so much.

It's incredibly effective when applied to acne or blemishes. With consistent use, you can really see a difference in skin texture. Great value for money! Apply it after your moisturizer for a hydration explosion. There's nothing really to complain about, but make sure to properly hydrate your skin before applying this cream!
