  Hydration: True to its 'moisturizing cleanser' claim, I could use a generous amount and scrub vigorously without any deep dryness after cleansing. That's a big plus! Ingredients and versatility: It's great for those busy days when you need something for both face and body. Being from the Uriage brand, I trust the ingredients are good quality. I feel comfortable using it as a body wash without any concerns.

  Cons

  Scent: Like many international derma-brands, the fragrance is overwhelmingly strong. This product has a distinctly masculine scent. The smell lingers on your hands after washing, and sometimes you can even taste it in your mouth. Lack of lather: Maybe it's because of the gel texture? Not recommended for those who love a rich, foamy cleanse! No matter how much you use or how vigorously you rub, it only produces a modest amount of foam - just enough for a cleansing gel, but nothing more luxurious.

  Tip

  The cleansing gel texture seems perfect for those with oily skin, especially for morning cleansing! As someone with dry skin, I found it comfortable to use this Uriage cleanser as a second step after a cleansing milk, with no feeling of tightness. I've even used it occasionally in the mornings to remove excess oil.
