I have dry, sensitive skin and found it fine with this brand's emulsion. However, when I tried it with a different base, it emphasized flaky areas despite its thin, low-coverage formula. It appears you need to really hydrate and smooth your skin to achieve that 'bare skin' illusion. Drawback 2: There are no refills available! And it's only sold individually, not in sets. As a product I plan to repurchase regularly, this hits the wallet a bit hard.

It offers about 10% coverage, even less noticeable than the 'bare face cream' I previously reviewed. While that cream left a slight sheen and transfer, this one simply evens out your complexion without looking like you're wearing anything. It applies like a cool splash of water but finishes with a soft, matte feel. I recommend starting with the mini size, which comes in 10 shades compared to the full size's 3 options. The coverage is so sheer that even if you choose the wrong shade, it blends seamlessly. Some mini shades are great for subtle contouring too. Despite its light coverage, it significantly improves overall skin tone evenness, and because it's so lightweight, I experienced no blemishes even with prolonged wear. For those who love the bare-faced look but want a bit of tone correction, I highly recommend this product.
